Please meet at Wrigley Fountain, located near the corner of Crescent Avenue & Sumner Avenue, adjacent to the Wrigley Stage. Please note transportation to Catalina Island is not included in your ticket price. You will need to make a boat reservation or helicopter reservation to come to Catalina.

What a great adventure! - We had the best time on our Catalina food tour! Our guide, Carol, was incredible. She grew up on the island and had all the inside scoop — it felt like walking around with a local friend. She knew everyone who passed by and was genuinely excited to share stories, history, and fun little nuggets of information that you won’t find in a brochure.
The food and drink selections were delicious and thoughtfully chosen, and every stop felt unique. It was the perfect mix of culture, flavor, and local charm.
This experience is a can’t-miss when visiting Catalina. Highly recommend! 🌴✨

Do the food tour with Janet! - Great fun walking around the island to the restaurants the locals favor with Janet who was very knowledgeable about the history and culture of Catalina. I appreciated that she asked in advance about food allergies/preferences. The food/drinks were great and she was fun to talk to!

Not to be missed experience - Janet was very engaging with many anecdotes and historical information. The food was amazing as were the beverages. I expected small servings but everything was pretty much full size. One sisters fav was the shrimp, (at Charlie’s?). Other sister loved the cactus pear margarita at Topsides. The cookie at the end was really good. Sadly, there wasn’t time on our trip to return to any of these awesome places for dinner. Would gladly repeat this. Janet went the extra mile and delivered a birthday Jell-O shot to my sister.

Mediocre and overpriced - Crazy expensive for what you get. We stopped at five places, and at each one you only receive small bites and drinks. If you don’t drink alcohol (like me), it’s even less worth it. The last stop was a dive bar and was pretty mediocre. You could easily spend half the money and do this on your own.
There wasn’t much history shared, and Carole didn’t seem very enthusiastic or engaged as a tour guide. Overall, I’d save your money. The only standout was the clam chowder at The Lobster Trap—but even that was just a small cup.
