Girls day at Catalina - Chris was a fantastic tour guide! He is very knowledgeable and we learned so much about Catalina history and available activities.

Exception Tour and Guide - The tour far exceeded all of our expectations, which were high. Mark, a Catalina native and full-time residence, provided a wonderful experience amplified by his first-hand knowledge of all the primary attractions as well as the ability to provide many interesting backstories. We got so much more out of the tour than had we simply rented a cart and tried to do it on our own. The cart was clean and well maintained, the meeting instructions were clear and the tour was exceptional. This tour is most highly recommended and kudos to Mark and Avalon Locals Tours for providing such a wonderful experience.

Best way to learn about Catalina & where everything is. - If you get Chris as your guide, you’re in for an amazing tour! He is so knowledgeable and friendly. We absolutely would recommend this tour.

Great views! - The views were astounding! And the tour guide stopped several places so we could take pictures. His knowledge of the island was terrific. The only negative is that it was difficult to hear a lot of what he said. It was a gas powered golf cart which created a lot of noise. I would recommend that the company switch to electric carts or the guide use a headset with a microphone.
