The Ghosts, Murders & Bars of Austin - A fascinating tour of Austin describing the legendary ax murders of the 1880s, visiting places like the Moonshine Tavern, the Firehouse Tavern/Speakeasy, & the Driskil Hotel where ghosts have been known to appear. The O Henry house & the Westin Rooftop bar were other interesting stops. The guide, David was very articulate & provided interesting insights into Austin’s history.

Drinks and Spooky Stories - We had the best time on the haunted pub crawl in Austin. Our guide David was incredibly knowledgeable, especially about the murders in Austin in the 1880s. He was very funny and a great storyteller. You could tell he really knew his history. We got to learn about places like the O Henry House, a speak easy which was originally a firehouse, and even went up to the top of the Westin for an amazing view. David was enthusiastic, engaging, and kept everyone interested the whole time. Highly recommend this if you want a unique, spooky way to experience Austin at night!

Excellent Haunted Pub Tour! - A very informative and entertaining tour which adds an interesting dimension to what is already a very colorful history of Austin - a tour which also shouldn't be missed by true crime aficionados.

Was a good combo, some... - Was a good combo, some walking, some cool locations, some history and some drinks !! Thought the meeting place could have been better as we were told to be there 15 min early but the guide came at 5 min early so we were wondering if we were in the right place for 10 minutes.

Ghost Guide - The guide never showed up. Another polite person offered to give us a tour but he was working another job and was unable to in the moment - he said there was no management reps in Austin. We called, and they said they'd consider or "process our request" for a refund HA... Rediculous company

Couldn’t order drinks - Waste of time and money - I would like to start off by saying our tour guide himself was very nice and informative. However, the tour itself was severely disappointing and badly organized. A major problem was the size of the group. Since there were so many of us (about 25), we had literally no time at all to order drinks. At the very first place we visited, the guide ushered us out when we hadn’t had a chance to receive the drink we ordered, and many of the group that did have a chance to order didn’t have a chance to enjoy their drinks. Unfortunately we had already paid and were forced to leave our barely touched drinks at the bar. The same happened at the next two places we visited and we finally gave up on the idea of ordering drinks which is unfortunate as this was advertised as a pub crawl - being able to have a drink without being rushed out is the bare minimum you’d expect. Second, we weren’t able to visit a few of the places mentioned in the itinerary. Our itinerary said we’d go to the Azul rooftop, but the rooftop was closed and we had to sit in a hotel lobby (and once again without time to get a drink). We were also supposed to go to Friends as stated on the itinerary and that too was completely overlooked. I had booked the tour specifically because this one mentioned a nice rooftop and the Friends bar which numerous friends had recommended to us, so we were extremely disappointed when we realized the tour was completely skipping the bar mentioned and couldn’t enjoy the rooftop. Lastly, the last place on our itinerary, the Driskill Hotel, was under construction, so we also could not enjoy the last place. I would like to re iterate that the tour guide himself was a great storyteller, very professional and knowledgeable. But the tour itself was extremely underwhelming. Considering two places were basically closed off (Azul rooftop and Driskill) and another place was completely overlooked (Friends), our time would have been better utilized if we’d been warned about the closures, renovations, and itinerary changes ahead of time as the whole point of us scheduling this tour was null. But being rushed out of each place and not being able to enjoy the drinks we paid for was the most frustrating of all and could have been avoided if the group size was smaller. You cannot expect 25 people to be able to all order in a small cramped bar space and enjoy their drinks in a span of 20 minutes. I hope the organization considers this in the future as we weren’t the only ones obviously disappointed…we watched another couple complain about the rushing from bar to bar and they decided to drop off and complete at their own pace which my partner and I should have done from the beginning.
