The guide was very... - The guide was very helpful and communicative throughout the experience. We received text message updates, and when I asked about parking at the pickup location, he gave me a very helpful suggestion. He also arrived on time that evening to pick us up.
The place where we stayed for the tour was beautiful, nicely decorated, and had a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. There were snacks, coffee, water, and other drinks available, which made the waiting time very comfortable.
Unfortunately, the weather in Fairbanks was rainy for several days during our trip, and that evening was quite cloudy as well. We waited until after midnight, but unfortunately, we still couldn’t see the Northern Lights from the original location. Instead of simply having us continue to wait, the guide suggested that we try other locations where we might have a better chance of seeing the aurora.
He then drove us to different spots and continued to follow the weather and viewing conditions throughout the night. Whenever there was a location that seemed to have a better chance of seeing the Northern Lights, he was willing to drive us there and give us the best possible opportunity.
Fortunately, we were able to see the Northern Lights that night. We probably needed the help of a camera lens to capture them better, but it was still a wonderful experience.
What impressed me most was the guide’s attitude and dedication. He didn’t simply let us sit and wait all night. Instead, he actively followed the conditions, kept looking for better opportunities, and made every effort to help us see the aurora.
We really appreciated his thoughtfulness, patience, and effort. His dedication made the experience much more enjoyable and memorable for us.

Amazing tour!! - This tour was excellent. The tour guides were very knowledgeable and accommodating. They picked us up from our hotel. He drove well. The glass house had heat, chairs, snacks, electricity, water, hot chocolate, and a bathroom. The guides stayed out in the cold most of the night watching for the Aurora. They took pics of us. It was so cloudy for hours. We were worried we wouldn’t get to see the Aurora. Luckily, it cleared up before our tour ended and we ended up seeing the most amazing Aurora show. I would definitely book with them again.

Clear sky but not much northern lights - Stella picked us up on time and drove us to their glass house up on the hill. The sky was super clear; however, not much northern lights activity. Going into something like this, we knew it’s not guaranteed. Stella kept the guests informed about the lights throughout and there’s a camera man who offered to take photos of the guests. Some guests complained that they didn’t get to sit at the front row where the ceiling-to-floor windows were at; however, truth to be told that the chairs were movable, they could have moved their chairs a bit closer and no one would have said anything. Plus, when there was northern lights, people all went outside to see so not sure what the issue was. It’s a bummer not seeing the lights but it’s not the operator’s fault. They did their best.

Great tour - It was great experience. The Arora glass house location is excellent. It is clean, comfortable and has snacks and hot drinks.
But the highlight was the tour guide STELLA. A very big thanks to her for her enthusiasm, and perseverance in looking at the sky and telling us where to locate the northern lights as ours was a cloudy day. If it was not for her we would never know that the skies had cleared up in an area and Aroras could be seen. She took some excellent photographs of each one with her camera and promptly sent the photos the next day. Once again thank you Stella!

No Aurora - Mixed feelings. We didn't get to see the aurora, it's s natural process, so no one's fault. Enjoyed the ride over, room and snacks. I wish guide would havd taken us to another spot to make an attempt to see. Or would be nice if we are informed of possibilities a day or two out.

Need truthful communication - The weather service forecasted rain for the entire evening and into morning. The radar sported the forecast. Instead of simply canceling, the operators took us 45 mins out to sit in a relatively small room until 130am, at which they announced, " no, change please load on the vans". I would appreciated honesty up front. I would not have requested a refund. However, due to the manner events were held, a partial refund would be ethical. I do not expect anything except for " sorry".

Improvement needed - We didn’t see aurora lights on the night of 9/8 because it was raining and cloudy. The reason I gave the tour operator (Amazing Aurora Tour) a one-star rating is that they didn’t offer us any options before the tour while knowing there was almost no chance to see aurora lights given the weather/cloud forecast. We came to that conclusion from booking another aurora tour for the next evening (9/9) with a different tour operator. We were notified by this operator before the event began that there was little chance we could see aurora lights on 9/9. They not only shared with us the weather/cloud conditions on 9/9 and the following nights but also offered us three options: 1) stinking to the original tour plan, 2) choosing a different date, or 3) canceling and getting full refund. We were so impressed with the second tour operator’s honesty and professionalism, while disappointed with the first operator.
