Wonderful tour that... - Wonderful tour that covered a lot. Lisa was great in communicating everything on the history of both Augsburg and the Fugger family.

Excellent value tour. - Gudrun our guide had perfect English. She was knowledgeable about the city. Despite the pouring rain our group of four had 2 hours of history walking across the city. We ended at the Fuggerei. We were able to stay in the complex and look at leisure at the end of the tour.

- The lady who took the lead was incredibly good. She managed it bilingually, which is not easy. The whole time was very exciting and entertaining. Our tour was on July 18th at 2pm.

Olga is great - We were traveling with Olga. And despite the heat, she kept us absolutely happy with her stories about the city! It was fun listening to her. She told us so figuratively that we were able to put ourselves very well into the respective time. Big praise from our side!

Outstanding way to learn about Augsburg - What a terrific tour with Ziggy. His English was excellent and he took more than two hours to take us around the city. He answered all our questions and didn’t rush the group. We were thrilled to learn the history of the city, the incredible water system and the importance of the Fugger family. Even Martin Luther and W A Mozart have a role here! The visit to the Fuggerei was the highlight of the tour. This is one of the best city tours we have ever taken.

Exciting guided tour of the beautiful Augsburg - The city tour showed us Augsburg from a very sympathetic and impressive side. The two hours passed in flight because it was so exciting and we got to know so many wonderful spots. Many thanks also to our guide Mr Peters.

Good tour, especially if you've never been to Augsburg. - This was a very informative tour and we loved our tour guide. She was knowledgeable and didn't need to consult notes. The town hall is closed for renovations though and we didn't know that in advance. Also, trip advisor claims this is wheelchair accessible and it most assuredly is not.

Friendly and competent guide - Friendly and competent guide. Interesting interactions with the audience. The guide talks a lot but shows us in the end quite little and tickets to museums are not valid beyond the day of the visit.

Need English guide - The tour included a free admission to the Rome meusem on the following day by showing our tour tickets. That was the plus. The negative: everyone else on this tour spoke German. Our guide, Holger, though friendly, catered to the German speakers. His explanations at each stop were given in German for least 3min. The English version was about 30 seconds. We felt that we were not getting all of the historic details. We have taken several other tours through Tripadvisor, and have always been happy with them. This was disappointing.

The tour must have been in... - The tour should have been in English, but the tour guide spoke 80% in German. I understand that the group consisted mainly of German speakers, but when I hired the tour it said that it was in English only. It is not our responsibility that the quotas in English have not been completed and have had to be combined with German The explanations in English were very short and deficient, for that better I see it online
