The tour proceeds to Oneroa, where visitors have 20 minutes to explore the delightful streets of Waiheke Island’s largest settlement.

Here, guests can enjoy boutique shopping, appreciate local heritage, and take in stunning coastal views, all in one remarkable tourist spot.

Afterward, a coffee break is enjoyed before heading down to Oneroa Beach (Long Beach), offering breathtaking views of the bay!

Mudbrick Vineyard - The journey continues to the first wine tasting at Mudbrick.

Guests have 40 minutes to enjoy a tasting and absorb the ambiance of this exceptional vineyard.

A wine tasting experience at Mudbrick Vineyard on Waiheke Island is an engaging sensory adventure, where guests can sample a variety of award-winning wines while surrounded by beautiful vineyards and panoramic views of the Hauraki Gulf.

A knowledgeable Vineyard Expert guides guests through each wine, sharing industry insights and fostering a deeper appreciation for the art of winemaking.

Waiheke Island - The tour then embarks on a scenic route along the east coast of Waiheke, offering breathtaking views from Ocean View Road and Little Oneroa Beach, along with captivating vistas of the stunning Hauraki Gulf (plenty of photo opportunities).
Batch Winery - The next stop is the second vineyard* for wine tasting and optional lunch.

Wine tasting includes three wines, with vineyard experts providing insights and history.

Lunch is optional and not included in the tour price.

Postage Stamp Wines - After lunch, the tour proceeds to the third and final tasting of the day at one of the following vineyards:

Blackpool - The tour concludes with a pleasant drive back through Blackpool & Piritahi Marae (Maori village), arriving at the ferry terminal for the return journey to Auckland.*

Guests can also be driven to another drop-off location if they wish to continue exploring the island.

Spend the day tasting wine on beautiful Waiheke - First, Waiheke is stunning. Don’t miss it on your visit to Auckland. And if you go, you’ll want to taste some wine. This tour is a great way to do it. No huge bus lumbering around the winding roads. Just a few fellow travelers and Suzanne, your lovely guide. She’ll tell you all about the island’s history, both wine and non-wine. By the end, you’ll be giving her a hug. We enjoyed numerous tastings and a super lunch (not included) overlooking the water.

This was an amazing tour... - This was an amazing tour and perfect way for us to explore Waiheke Island and visit wineries. Susan is a local and very knowledgeable on anything wine related. She showed us around her favorite local spots and even shared some cool insights. The small tour group size was perfect and we couldn’t had hoped for a better group to share the experience with. We recommend this to anyone looking for a small, more personalized and guaranteed fun experience.

Not only was our guide,... - Not only was our guide, Susan, a friendly, welcoming person, she was also very knowledgeable about wines, area wineries and the island in general. Communication was clear and she was prompt. We really enjoyed the three wineries we visited, all a bit different. And as an added treat she showed us a few of her favorite sites, a glimpse into life on the very beautiful island. The small size of our group allowed for personal attention and it made our day very special.

Wonderful guide and great wineries! - Suzanne met us at the ferry. She was knowledge about the island and knew the winery staff…. It was a seamless experience and great wine. Even though our suitcases were full (and I had bought an extra) we still bought some wine. Very small group and very personalized.

Waiheke Private Tour - Graeme and the team from Kiwi Connect provided an absolutely wonderful experience, touring Waiheke Island and visiting some of the wonderful wineries located on the island. From helping with the process and timing of ferries from Auckland, to scheduling the winery visits, to even providing a lunch reservation at one of our stops, all was managed perfectly. The tour and Graeme’s knowledge of the island and history was excellent, and the three wineries were each unique. The setting was marvelous for each, and the lunch was brilliant. We could not have asked for a more enjoyable day on Waiheke, one of the absolute highlights of our trip to Australia and New Zealand!!

The Spectacular Waiheke Island and vineyard tour - What a delight! - The tour of the islands and visit to three vineyards with Suzanne was delightful! What a spectacular place Waiheke Island is! And our guide was so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. First, we toured around the entire island and learned about the community, history, and beauty of the island. Then we visited three vineyards for wine tastings and lunch. Highly recommend this tour.
