The journey continues through Oneroa Village, Oneroa Beach, Surfdale Village, and Ostend Village, passing the renowned Golden Mile of Onetangi, where many vineyards are located, leading to the stunning East Coast beach of Onetangi. Expect plenty of scenic views and engaging commentary.
• Three Seven Two - Delight in a set menu lunch with a glass of wine at this charming local restaurant situated right on the beach at Onetangi, a beloved spot among locals.
• Stonyridge Vineyard - 1:45pm – Experience wine tasting at Stonyridge Vineyards, set in a picturesque valley adorned with olive trees, vibrant vines, and the delightful scents reminiscent of southern France. Alternatively, visit Postage Stamp Wines if Stonyridge is unavailable at this time.
• Postage Stamp Wines - 3pm – Participate in wine tasting at Mudbrick Vineyard or Postage Stamp Wines, both offering an idyllic setting with breathtaking sea views across the Waitemata Harbour to Auckland city. Alternatively, Te Motu Vineyard may be available, known for its sustainable practices and rich, deep reds, ideal for red wine enthusiasts.
