• Waikato Region - Leaving Auckland, travel south through the breathtaking Waikato countryside, the largest farming area globally, encountering stunning landscapes, powerful rivers, excellent photo opportunities, majestic mountains, and various farm animals along the route. During the Waikato adventure, there will be a brief coffee break at a special spot.
• Tirau - As the journey continues to Rotorua, pass through Tirau, famously known as the ‘Corrugated Iron Capital of the World’ due to its unique corrugated iron sculptures and buildings. This town always brings a smile, and the guides will point out all the main highlights along the way.
• Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Wonderland - Upon arrival at the main destination, experience the Wai-O-Tapu Geothermal Wonderland. Known as one of the most surreal places on earth, visitors will see the renowned Champagne Lake, Devil’s Bath, local mud pools, geothermal craters, and other geothermal marvels. The vibrant colors and activity are truly breathtaking.
• Te Puia - After a lunch break, explore the rich history and traditions of New Zealand’s Māori culture at Te Puia on a guided 90-minute tour. Observe skilled artisans reviving ancient techniques at the carving and weaving schools, explore the Kiwi Conservation Centre, and witness the spectacular Pōhutu Geyser erupting up to 30 meters high in the geothermal area.
• Rotorua - Conclude the Rotorua experience with a guided driving tour of the city’s most famous sites, including Lake Rotorua, Rotorua Museum, Government Gardens, Whangapipiro (Rachel Spring), and the Blue Baths.
