• Hobbiton Movie Set - Upon arrival at the first main attraction, ‘Hobbiton,’ board one of the large green Hobbiton buses for a two and a half hour fully guided tour of this incredible 12-acre movie set. A professional Hobbiton guide will ensure a memorable visit. During the tour, explore the lush pastures of the Shire, visit 44 hobbit holes, admire stunning gardens, learn secrets and stories about the movie-making process, and enjoy a complimentary cold beverage at the renowned Hobbiton pub, ‘The Green Dragon Inn.’

* Maintenance & restoration construction at Hobbiton is scheduled to begin on 01 June 2025, with major works concluding in September 2025. During this time, construction and maintenance equipment and noise will be present. Tours will proceed as usual but will follow an alternate route around the construction area, offering a glimpse into the efforts to maintain the magical appearance of the Hobbiton Movie Set as seen in the films.

• Karapiro - After departing Hobbiton and heading towards Waitomo, stop at the picturesque Lake Karapiro. It is home to one of New Zealand’s first hydro dams and a training ground for some of the country’s top rowers. With stunning views across the lake and countryside, it’s an ideal spot for a quick break and some photos.
• Otorohanga - Recharge with a delicious lunch, included as part of the tour. Choose from a fresh selection of savory bites to keep energized for the afternoon. Relax and savor the local flavors before continuing the adventure.
• Waitomo Glowworm Caves - Upon arrival at the second main attraction, be guided through the ancient and remarkable caves, observing various cave formations including Stalactites, Stalagmites, and Lime Columns before descending further underground for the Glowworm experience.
