- This experience requires a minimum number of travellers. If it’s cancelled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.
- Moderate level of fitness is required and comfortable shoes with a good grip.
- Access to Hot Water Beach is tide dependent.
- Please wear comfortable clothing suitable for the conditions, walking shoes, sun protection, jacket/warm layer & essential personal items.
- Equip with Swimming costume and Towel if you choose to swim.
- Bring a camera or a phone with camera capability as this is the perfect place to get some great experiences photos.
- We provide shovels so you can dig your own spa.
- There are no rubbish and toilet facilities at Cathedral Cove, so please be prepared to bring all your rubbish out with you.
- Our scenic walks are short and optional. Please let our guide know at check in if you have any fitness concerns.
- The roads in Coromandel Peninsula are very windy, please equip yourself for any motion sickness.
- Due to winding roads, this tour is not suitable for families with infants and young children. We suggest you to please book our Coromandel Peninsula Discovery Experience.
- Hot Water Beach is best accessed at low tide, but can be enjoyed in all but rough and dangerous conditions.
- Allow enough time to do the 45 min walk each way at the cathedral cove and have time to swim and take photos.
- This tour is not recommended for people with limited mobility or fitness.
- You must be able to climb and descend stairs and walk on unpaved or uneven terrain.
- The Cathedral Cove walking track is well formed but has steep sections and steps. It needs moderate to good fitness and sturdy footwear. It can be very hot in summer and there is no running water, so bring plenty of water and sun protection.
