Wonderful headlands trip from Newcastle to Catherine Hill Bay and back 🙂 - Excellent trip with lovely lady staff member who drove the boat, she had lots of interesting information of the trip down to Catherine Hill bay can’t wait to do the whale trip :)

Coastal Adventure - A great way to see our coastline from the ocean. Our host Dom was very friendly a d keen to answer questions. We had a bonus meeting with a pod of dolphins on our way back. Definitely recommend this tour.

Unforgettable New Year’s Eve on Newcastle Harbour - From the moment we stepped aboard CoastXP on New Year’s Eve, my husband and I knew we were in for something special. Welcoming the new year beneath the sparkling harbour lights and spectacular fireworks was an absolute highlight and experiencing it from the water made it truly unforgettable. The grazing platters and beverages were a delicious showcase of local flavours, beautifully presented and perfectly paired with the stunning harbour views. Everything felt thoughtful and well paced, allowing guests to relax and truly soak in the experience. The service throughout the evening was warm, genuine and personal. Dom greeted everyone with his big smile and kindness, immediately making guests feel comfortable and welcome. In one particularly thoughtful moment, he even held my glass while I took photos of the Newcastle Customs House Clock Tower during the celebrations, a small gesture that perfectly reflected the care shown throughout the night. This was our second time joining CoastXP and seeing so many returning guests on board for New Year’s Eve speaks volumes about the consistency and quality of their award winning experiences. Dom and his wife Ally, along with their wonderful team, create moments that go far beyond a typical harbour tour. Their passion for people, place and adventure truly shines through. We can’t wait to return again soon. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience Newcastle from a fresh, memorable and exciting perspective.

A highly recommended trip - Very good trip. We saw dolphins in the wild luckly. The tour guide is very friendly. We sailed a long way along the coast, and the scenery along the way was beautiful. We accidentally left a item on the ship, but the tour guide patiently helped us find it.

An experience not to be missed when visiting Newcastle. - The boat tour was one of the highlights of our visit to Newcastle. Our skipper and guide Dominic was extremely friendly and informative and the boat ride itself was exhilarating. Unfortunately the trip had to be cut short as we hit a wall of rain and had to turn round early but we still managed to see a good stretch of the coastline and during the brief time we were being showered with rain, the rain coat we were issued with kept us nice and dry.

Scenic ride - Friendly, informative, scenic and fun. See our Newcastle coast from another angle. Get up close to the entrance to huge caves. Learn some history. Surrounded by dolphins off Bar Beach. A great trip.

Great way to experience the Newcastle and Lake Macquarie coast line. - We have done 5 coast xp tours, mixed whale watching and the coastal explorer Dom, is so professional and made sure for this last trip the weather would be suitable, rearranging days accordingly. We combined this experience with the Aero logistics helicopter ride, the weather was perfect,scenery has to be seen to be believed. Wasn’t a fan of the open/ or no door helicopter but my partner loved it!

Ok, not great. - It was ok, not bad, not great, The trip was too long south looking at mostly the same scenery, not enough information to keep it interesting. Pretty bumpy, way too cold, bring a jumper, wish we had know beforehand.
