While the fish/lake didn't cooperate, my 86 year old dad and I had a great time. The boat was very comfortable, especially on this rainy November day. Our captain/guide, Zach was equally amazing and worked his tail off trying to find the right combination of color and set up on this tough fishing day with the lake being relatively flat. We landed a few smaller fish and missed a couple of bit hits. When one of these big hits happened near the end of our 8 hour day, Zach was making the argument to us to continue for another half hour! Have been on a number of guided trips and most would have cut the day short, given the tough fishing conditions and miserable weather. He did just the opposite. Would fish with Zach any time and certainly plan to again! Thanks for a great day!
