• Corinth Canal - After departing from Athens, the first stop, approximately an hour’s drive away, will be the Corinth Canal. Here, visitors can enjoy the stunning view from the bridge and capture memorable photos. The Corinth Canal links the Gulf of Corinth in the Ionian Sea with the Saronic Gulf in the Aegean Sea. It traverses the narrow Isthmus of Corinth, effectively separating the Peloponnese from the Greek mainland, thus arguably making the peninsula an island. The canal is dug at sea level and does not have locks.
• Archaeological Site of the Acropolis of Sparta - After a drive of about two and a half hours, the journey reaches Sparta, known as the eternal rival of Athenian Democracy. Sparta was centered around a different cosmological theory by ancient Greek standards. Initially recognized as the birthplace of Helen of Troy and the Kingdom of Menelaus during the Mycenaean period, Sparta was organized as a purely military society in ancient Greece. It was the city of two kings where a few aristocrats ruled, and notably, the city from which Leonidas and his 300 Spartans marched to confront the Persian army at Thermopylae in 480 BCE.
• Leonidas Monument - The tour will pass by the stadium where the statue of King Leonidas stands, marking the endpoint of the Spartathlon race (Athens – Sparta 245.3 km).

• Monemvasia - After approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, the tour arrives at the mythical Monemvasia. This is a living medieval city, developed on an island connected to the Greek mainland. A fortress and a thriving city of the Byzantine Empire, Monemvasia (meaning “one entrance”) still endures, with its narrow streets, mansions, small houses, churches, walls, gate, and citadel. The city remains inhabited, and history truly comes alive here. Visitors can enjoy lunch by the sea along the old wall and explore the city, continually discovering new points of interest.
