The Temple of Athena Pronaia was part of the ancient site of Delphi, within the Sanctuary of Athena Pronaia, which included temples, treasuries, and the renowned Tholos of Delphi. The Castalian Spring, located near the Oracle of Delphi, was believed in ancient times to have purifying waters capable of cleansing the souls of visitors to the Temple of Apollo, just 500 meters away.
