- Acropolis - The tour begins with a visit to Athens, showcasing its most significant sights beautifully illuminated. This includes a stop at the Acropolis and the Parthenon, the Temple of Virgin Athena, the Goddess of wisdom, adorned with vibrant lights. At the Acropolis, visitors will enjoy panoramic views of the Parthenon, the temple atop the sacred rock dedicated to Goddess Athena, the Propylaea, the entrance to the sacred rock, the Temple of Wingless Victory dedicated to Goddess Athena-Nike, the Erechtheum, the most sacred and mythical of all Athenian temples with its renowned Caryatides (female statues), the 5,000-seat Odeon of Herodes Atticus carved into the rock and still hosting music festivals, and the 3,000-seat theater of Dionysus where Athenians once enjoyed the timeless works of Sophocles, Aeschylus, Euripides, and Aristophanes.
- Temple of Olympian Zeus - The Temple of Olympian Zeus is a former colossal temple located in the heart of Athens. It was dedicated to “Olympian” Zeus, named for his role as the leader of the Olympian gods. Construction began in the 6th century BC under the Athenian tyrants, who aimed to create the greatest temple of the ancient world, but it was not completed until the reign of Roman Emperor Hadrian in the 2nd century AD, 638 years later. During the Roman era, the temple, featuring 104 colossal columns, was celebrated as the largest temple in Greece and housed one of the largest cult statues of the ancient world.
- Panathenaic Stadium - The Panathenaic Stadium, or Kallimarmaro “beautiful marble,” is a multi-purpose stadium in Athens, Greece. It is one of Athens’ main historic attractions and the only stadium in the world constructed entirely of marble. A stadium was initially built on the site of a simple racecourse by Athenian statesman Lycurgus around 330 BC, primarily for the Panathenaic Games. It was reconstructed in marble by Herodes Atticus, an Athenian Roman senator, by 144 AD and could accommodate 50,000 spectators. After Christianity’s rise in the 4th century, it was largely abandoned. The stadium was excavated in 1869 and, after refurbishment, hosted the opening and closing ceremonies of the first modern Olympics in 1896, serving as the venue for 4 of the 9 contested sports. It is the finishing point for the annual Athens Classic Marathon and the last venue in Greece for the Olympic flame handover ceremony to the host nation.
- Changing of the Guard Ceremony - The Presidential Guard is a ceremonial infantry unit that protects the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the Presidential Mansion in Athens, Greece. This unit is recognized as the last of the Evzones in the Hellenic Army and is closely associated with the traditional Evzone uniform, which evolved from the attire worn by Greeks during the Greek War of Independence. The most notable feature of this uniform is the fustanella, a kilt-like garment.
- Mount Lycabettus - Mount Lycabettus is a limestone hill in Athens, standing 300 meters (908 feet) above sea level. Pine trees cover its base, and its two peaks feature the 19th-century Chapel of St. George and a theater. From a specific viewpoint (balcony), visitors can enjoy the best panoramic view of the city, from the Acropolis hill to the Aegean Sea.
- Plaka - An old neighborhood located at the base of the hill topped by the Acropolis. It features narrow streets, traditional houses, taverns, and coffee shops. Optionally, visitors can enjoy a dinner at a traditional tavern, savoring Greek cuisine.
- Microlimano - On the way to Piraeus, there will be a stop at Microlimano (small port), an area filled with Greek fish taverns and nightclubs, considered the heart of nightlife in southern Athens. Visitors can enjoy dinner at a traditional restaurant by the sea.
