Meteora - Depart from Athens at 8:00am to Kalabaka with our coach-bus and admire the beautiful Greek landscapes during your trip. Shortstop midway to Meteora.

Arriving in Kalabaka at 12:30 we will transfer you to your hotel to check in and be prepared for the Majestic Sunset Meteora Tour. We will pick you up from your hotel for the tour.

The Majestic Sunset Meteora tour is one of the top rated tours in the area. You will have for 4 hrs the chance to see all the area, visit 1 main monastery inside, the Byzantine Church of Virgin Mary in the old city of Kalabaka and admire the sunset from the best panoramic viewpoint of Meteora rocks.

After your tour, we will drop you off again at your hotel or in Kalabaka for a short walk.

Monastery of St. Stephan - Admire St Stephen (Agios Stefanos) Nunnery during your Majestic Sunset Meteora Tour

Byzantine Church of the Assumption of Virgin Mary - Visit the oldest monument of the area and learn the history of this important sacred place.

Panoramic Morning Tour or Authentic Hiking Tour - Free Time - Departure from Kalabaka to Athens

Meteora - Next morning at 09:00 join a comprehensive Panoramic Morning Meteora Tour (3 monasteries inside) or an Authentic Hiking Meteora Tour (1 monastery inside) (your choice, you have to inform us by email after the booking which tour you wish to do).

For 4 hours you will have the chance to experience all the beauty of the unique phenomenon of Meteora and the Holy monasteries on top of the rock giants.

After your morning Meteora activity we will transfer you back to your hotel to have lunch and prepare for your departure back to Athens.

The bus departs from Kalabaka at 18:00 and you will arrive in Athens around 22:45.

Great Meteoron Monastery - Visit Great Meteoron, the biggest and oldest monastery of Meteora. You will visit this monastery if you choose Panoramic Morning Meteora Tour or the Authentic Hiking Meteora tour (the monastery is closed every Tuesday and in this case you will visit Varlaam or St Nicholas Monastery)

Well organized and rewarding experience - Excellent guide María ,passionate about explaining everything to everyone.Super friendly and helpful driver -Christos . On the way out we were on a small bus ,as we were on the excursions-only 5 people.We took the 2 day tour but booked our own hotel (works out much cheaper and they still pick you up ) .The only negative which didn’t reflect on the quality of the experience in general was the big bus on the way back full of a rowdy school group of teenagers-but maybe something the company should take into account

The views, the monasteries, the guide and the whole planning of the trip is just top notch - The best trip, very informative and of course Meteora was absolutely beautiful. My guide Vaso was the sweetest and very informative and very accommodating. I loved everything about my 2 day trip. I will probably do it again in the summer as well. Thank you!

Amazing trip, well worth it! - I went on the 2-day Meteora tour from Athens. Both the tour guides were very knowledgeable and our one tour guide, Clemont, took some great photos of me and my friends. Between both days, we saw all of Meteora but also had a good amount of time to walk around Kalabaka and go for a short hike to the hermit caves. Going in the off season was great because there weren't many people, but we were still able to get the full experience. I highly recommend this tour!

Trully amazing experience - Excellent service and wonderful experience. Klaimond and Maria were brilliant guides for us. Breathtaking landscapes and a blessing tour. I made also good friends from the tour. Overall 5star experience. Definitely recommended

METEORA - 2 Days from Athens Everyday with 2 Guided tours & Hotel is Highly Recommended! - I have to say that this was a truly amazing and enjoyable tour. Two days is the perfect amount of time for this experience, and you get to see so many places. I was lucky enough to visit three out of the six monasteries and enjoy the magical atmosphere and spectacular views. The small group size was something I really appreciated, and the whole tour was smooth and hassle-free. I also want to thank the great drivers (I only remember the name Sakis, sorry! :D) and both tour guides — Giannis, who guided us on the first day, and Afrodite on the second (I hope I remember the names correctly! :D). They were all very friendly, kind, and informative. Thank you very much for such a wonderful tour. I hope to come back again soon!

What a wonderful and unique spot - The experience was amazing, the locations in the program were astonishing, we visited the inside of 4 monasteries and it was hard to tell which was the most interesting and beautiful, but most of all, the area it self is one large piece of natural beauty and historical and geographical wonders. The rich colors of Autumn leaves just added a magical touch. Thank you Aphrodite (our tour guide) and Sakis (our driver) for the full informative exiting and overwhelming experience in this very unique spot in the world.

Highly recommended! - Enjoyed the 2-day tours arranged by meteora throne- start ans ended at Athens 🥰 had joined afternoon tour ( guided by May alexandra and apologize i forgot to get name of driver) and morning tour (guided by Vaso and driver Chris) The logisitics are hassle-free. Tour guides are knowledgeable and friendly! The views are spectacular 🥰 2 day tour will give u chance to explore different monasteries with sufficient time. they will ensure u will not having much overlapping during the days ☺️

The arrangement of the 2... - The arrangement of the 2 days was very confusing. The returning ride was badly organized. We were lucky that my husband and I could sit together. The sunset tour was only average but the sunset view was amazing. The PANORAMIC morning tour was great. Clement was our tour guide and Vasilis was our driver for the morning tour Both of them were great. I have learnt a great deal of the monasteries history from our tour guide. We have opted for the 3*hotel. Although the hotel was only 8 -10 minutes walk from city center, it feels like it was in the middle of nowhere. The area was quiet and quite dark. Hotel claims it is a 4 stars and quite new. We were totally disappointed with the room. It is just like a 1-2 stars motel room in N. America. However, the breakfast is like a true 4 star hotel. We enjoyed the breakfast very much. We visited 3 monasteries in the morning tour. Each was about 1 hr. Because we need to climb 300+ steps for one of the monasteries, we didn't have enough time to see it. However, the whole experience of this tour is still super!

Meteora 2 days tour. - The 2 day tour is highly recommended as the trip from athens to kalabaka is lengthy (6 hours one way) but comfortable. The first day was exhausting as we arrive late and had to skip the hotel check in and go ahead with the tour right away so make sure to eat a meal at the bus stop midway or pack something to eat. The guide we had (Giannis and Aphrodite) were knowledgeable and accommodating. The best thing about the second day was getting to see all the sites ahead of the other tours and avoid large crowds. Overall the experience was amazing and worth it! We were in awe to see and experience Gods magnificent creations. To God be the Glory!!

Bad experience - It has been a dire experience, we were extended the journey. We bought a 2 day 1 night excursion in Meteora with HOTEL, the advertising was 105 € when you will pay is 120 €, you ignore it and pay... when we arrived in Meteora we had no HOTEL!! MISLEADING ADVERTISING we fell as unsuspecting... offered us the local guide (after disappointment and piss) hotel.pir 28€ each, we were, but in 2 minutes change to 40 €, we are taking advantage of the overwhelm, of course we did not take it and hired a hotel. We had hired and paid guide in Spanish....but they left without us in our noses, leaving us with our luggage in the street and not knowing where we were going to sleep....ignoring us...then another minibus appeared, they picked up the luggage and without a word they saved it and we got on a tour in English... without knowing anything... and loading our vacation.... A DISMAL EXPERIENCE....not an apology I find it intolerable that you only pay and have not a single right... just shut up... That's how this company works.
