It was absolutely... - It was absolutely beautiful! The journey (4h round trip and 4h return) is worth it. Lunch in a restaurant was okay, and worth the price paid. The guide was great, but in the end you mostly listen to your audio guide. But it’s clearly not that that’s important, it’s the view of these majestic buildings and the panoramic view from above. The lux bus is a standard bus with air conditioning but not much space and no outlet. But this was more than enough because the bus was not full.

Cozy and friendly environment - A unique experience. As the English say "breathtaking." Our guide Eva was friendly, available, attentive. The entire trip was made in total safety and excellent value for money. The lunch was very good, very worth it, fresh and tasty food.

Serenity in the sky! - To see the stunning monasteries built on pinnacles is totally worth the 4 1/2 hour drive each way from Athens. This includes a rest stop after the first 2 hours of bus ride. The optional lunch provided in a taverna with a view of the sky-high monasteries is great Greek food too. Lovely sceneries on the way with spring flowers, mountains and olive orchards.

A great day! - Top organisation! Too bad nothing is in French but they knew it The very kind and professional Riki guide The very nice driver The food was good and I expected worse The meteors blowing it away was definitely worth it The duration of the trip a little long but well punctuated by stages In a word, a great success Thank you.

Our tour guide Riki was... - Our tour guide Riki was super fun and informative! Kept us on time and on track while always offering to take pictures of us with some spectacular views in the back. Despite the rain, she was out there with us showing us the sites, sharing her umbrella and knowledge of the sites. Very punctual too! Had a great visit 😊

Only visited 2 monasteries when 3 advertised - Cannot fault the guide, drivers or bus experience, all incredibly lovely and polite and the lunch was great, also the driver gave us a cold bottle of water midway through which was lovely. However, the tour was advertised as visiting 3 monasteries and caves, we visited only 2 monasteries. There was no guide inside the monasteries either, just a prerecorded information through headphones on the bus, Rikki the guide though was lovely and was taking pictures for anyone who wanted at any of the ‘photo stops’ we took, I would have preferred to use that time to see the third monastery as advertised. We also only got around 45 minutes in each monastery which really is not enough as I didn’t get time to see everything in the two monasteries we did visit. Again if we had visited the 3 monasteries as advertised and had more time in them this would be a 5 star review as the staff are all so lovely.

Our guide or her company could have done better. - Our guides English was limited. Her or the company did not have the “Whisper” type of radio that would have allowed a truly guided tour. Therefore, our guide remained outside of the monasteries and left us on our own…with the exception of guides from other tour companies that we were able to listen to.
