Great day in meteora - Catalina and Demetri were amazing, the tour is a full day 8-10 you do about 2 hours stop eat a quick breakfast 2 hours stop eat lunch, 1 hour three monistaries with 2 high panoramic stops to get good pictures they helped shoot the best pics I got. Catalina is extremely knowledgeable and a lot of fun and demetri kept and upbeat and happy demeanor the whole trip! 10/10 must do, only thing I would skip is lunch maybe as the breakfast place before was better, just personal preference.

Overnight Trip! Sunset Tour and Guided Hike - My wife and I did the overnight trip and had a great time. I can imagine the day trip would also be very nice. One day would be a long day, but you would get to see everything (just at a faster pace). Because we were there overnight we weren't rushed, and the highlight was the morning guided hike we chose. The hike itself was 5 mi with 1,300 ft of elevation. I'd say 7/10 challenge level. We had nice mild weather, summer would be harder. We got to hike to a monastery we had not visited the evening prior and the hike itself was beautiful.

A worthwhile Meteora 3 Monasteries tour! - Eleni was a great driver! Maria, the tour guide was friendly & knowledgeable ! A total of 8 hrs bus ride back & forth! Lunch was good but only 45 minutes stop but still ok! Lots of climbing the stairs , bring a skirt for Ladies to enter the monastery ( or they lend you upon entrance) ! A worthwhile tour, lots of breathtaking scenery/views ! It's a Unesco Heritage that's why it's a must see !

Great Experience - I booked this trip last minute and I'm glad I did as it was well worth it. The views were stunning and the monistaries we visited were amazing to see the inside of. Some things to note with this tour is that first off the drive is long out to the site, and back. Be sure to bring a book, podcasts, or music to occupy your time. Also, you'll need to bring cash with as each of the monistaries have a €5 entry fee, and on our trip we visited 3 of them. The first monastery we visited had a lot of steps, but was well worth the climb. The other two were much more accessible.

Great Tour Option - Great experience. Knowledgable & kind drivers & guide. Not to stress the monasteries have skirts free to wear, they are universal elastic or wrap skirts. We went in February so there were plenty to go around. The Resturaunt they take you (twice) to along the coast, is very reasonably price and delicious. The fire oven pizzas were outstanding. The Resturaunt you stop at as your paid lunch was also very good. You have a limited menu (only 3 vegetarian options - rice stuffed pepper & tomato, pasta and sauce and a grape leaf rice filling wraps) it was good. The first two Monasteries you pay 1€ to use the toilet/WC, the last one (run by the nuns) allows you free entry to use the WC. I highly recommend this tour. Wear proper footwear and beware you walk steep steps and ramps to get to most Monasteries. Bring walking sticks if needed.

Must see! - Stunning imagery and amazing photography opportunity. Be prepared for some steps and walking, comfy shoes highly encouraged. Our guide Catarina and driver Dimitris (spelling? :x) were amazing. You could tell they take pride in their locale, and it is amazing. Must see in Greece

Excellent guide, beautiful location - I did a full day monastery tour (incl. travel time from Athens) with Visit Meteora and it was a wonderful experience. The bus ride up to Kalampaka is about five hours including a rest stop, but the bus was comfortable and had wifi and phone charger ports so it was not that much of a slog. Our guide Apostolis was truly the man — funny, energetic, and very knowledgeable. He answered all our questions with a few extra anecdotes to boot and the tour never felt dull with him around. Our driver Erikos was also clearly experienced and got us round those mountain switchbacks smoothly and safely. Would highly recommend going with Visit Meteora if you’re interested in the monasteries!
