- Beit Shalom Synagogue in Athens - The tour continues with a visit to Athens’ Old Synagogue (Beth Shalom), constructed in 1904. Following this, the tour passes by the New Synagogue (Etz Hayyim), located directly opposite the old one and built in 1935. The New Synagogue can only be viewed from the outside.
- Monastiraki - The tour concludes with a delightful stroll through the charming streets of Plaka and Monastiraki. These historic 19th-century districts of Athens were home to notable figures who resided in magnificent neoclassical houses. This area offers a captivating historical tapestry of ancient sites and monuments, including the Greek Agora, the Roman Forum, the Tower of the Winds, the ruins of Hadrian’s Library, old Orthodox churches, and historic mosques. Visitors can explore the Flea Market and the bustling Adrianou Street, experiencing the vibrant commercial atmosphere of the old town. A turn into the picturesque, flower-lined backstreets leads to the tranquil Anafiotika neighborhood, featuring some of the oldest homes in the Plaka district.
