• Panathinaiko Stadium - Also known as Kalimarmaro Stadium, this exquisite marble venue hosted the first modern Olympic Games in 1896. It now serves as a site for ceremonial events and live music concerts. A perfect spot for photography. Tickets are available for entry.

• Temple of Olympian Zeus - Explore this ancient temple located on the grounds of a historic outdoor sanctuary dedicated to Olympian Zeus. It is the largest temple in Greece. Tickets cost 3€ from November 1st to March 31st and 6€ from April 1st to October 31st.

• Acropolis - Begin your Athens sightseeing with a visit to Acropolis Hill, which includes the Dionysus and Herodion theaters, the Temple of Athena Nike, the monumental entrance (Propylaea), the Erechtheion, and the renowned Parthenon Temple, dedicated to the virgin goddess Athena. The Acropolis Hill ticket covers all these sites and costs 15€ from November 1st to March 31st and 30€ from April 1st to October 31st.

• Erechtheion - This celebrated ancient Greek temple honors Athena and Poseidon and features a porch with six caryatids (female columns).

• Parthenon - Dedicated by the Athenians to Athena Parthenos, this temple is the most splendid creation of Athenian democracy at its peak and the finest monument on Acropolis Hill.

• Plaka - Venture into downtown Athens. The next optional stop could be at a traditional Greek restaurant offering authentic Greek dishes or a quick stop for a Pitta Gyros (Souvlaki).

• Ancient Agora of Athens - This famous landmark includes the ancient Temple of Hephaestus, the ruins of an ancient Greek gathering place, and a museum with artifacts. Known as the birthplace of democracy, philosophy, and free speech, the entrance fee is 4€ in winter and 8€ in summer. The ticket includes access to the Agora Museum and Hephaestus Temple.

• Museum of the Ancient Agora - The Stoa (Portico) of Attalos, a reconstructed ancient structure that once served as a gathering place and market, now houses a museum with Athenian artifacts.

• Temple of Hephaestus - The best-preserved temple in Greece.

• Central Market Athens - A bustling market where fish, meat, and produce are sold, featuring restaurants as well.

• Monastiraki - Known as the flea market of Athens, this area is perfect for capturing unique photos.

• Syntagma - The city’s expansive, tree-lined central square, complete with a fountain, cafes, and park benches.

• Hellenic Parliament - Originally an old palace from the 1800s, it now serves as the Greek parliament, featuring ceremonial guards and a memorial for unknown soldiers. Capture photos of the famous Evzones/soldiers in their distinctive attire.

• The Academy of Athens - A national institution for sciences, humanities, and fine arts, housed in a landmark 1800s neoclassical building adorned with statues of Socrates and Plato. A great spot for photography.

• National and Kapodistrian University of Athens - Located in a landmark 1800s neoclassical building, decorated with Ionic columns and frescoes.

• National Library of Greece - Situated in a landmark 1800s neoclassical building, featuring Doric columns.

• Mount Lycabettus - The highest hill in the center of Athens, standing at 280 meters (1,000 feet), offers a panoramic 360-degree view of the city. A fantastic opportunity for panoramic photos of the Acropolis, Stadium, and Aegean Sea. Note that minibuses may have difficulty accessing this area.

• Acropolis Museum - A state-of-the-art glass and steel museum housing ancient artifacts from the Acropolis archaeological site. Visitors can optionally explore the museum or enjoy a drink on its veranda, which offers a stunning view of the Parthenon. The veranda cafe restaurant has free entrance, while the museum ticket costs 15€.

If you want to see everything that Athens has to offer, then we suggest both modern & classical Athens sites in a full day tour. The day starts with convenient pickup and then takes you to the Acropolis Hill, Zeus Temple, Olympic stadium, Plaka, ancient & modern Agora, Lycavetus hill and many more.

Schedule is flexible, but most importantly we can drive on small roads and you will see Athens from all different angles. We are dedicated to show you the Athens we know and love, as travelers and not as tourists and for this reason we will avoid the tourist traps. You also have the flexibility to explore each attraction independently or add a licensed archaeologist guide (extra cost).

• The driver is not a licensed tour guide to accompany you on your walk to the top of the Acropolis or inside any other site or museum. If you require an archaeologist guide to tour the sites with you, you need to hire one additionally. Your driver provides informative audio documentary & historical details as you travel.
• Booking hours: Tour is private & flexible (up to 8 hours). However we only request to have in mind the agreement hours. But if you like to extend it, please make a fair arrangement with your tour driver/ leader. Additional charge per hour is 30€ (Sedan) - 45€ (Minivan) - 60€ (Minibus).
• Your private tour is available from Athens city center. Additional charge is applicable from 25€ per way for longer pickup/drop off locations, more than 7 km from Athens city center.
