Delphi with Elena Tag Ahens - Organised, knowledgeable, safe, smooth, 10/10. Elena us guide was perfect 100/10 :) During journey we have very nice dinner in local restaurant close to Delphi. Local food :) Also we have brilliant time traveling with professional bus driver. Bus was so clean with air conditioning. We had plenty off stops for refreshments. Very well spended money, seriously recommended. My experience happened 16 Jan 2026. Time off experience 12-13 hours depends traffic.

Wonderful guided tour! - Our guide, Elisavet, was very knowledgeable and gave information both on our journey to Delphi and on the trip back, so even the “boring” driving parts of the journey were never boring. Delphi itself was of course very beautiful even in winter. We opted for the no lunch option and took food with us, and I think this worked out very well as we had more time to explore the mountain town of Aráchova, which is absolutely stunning. The views were spectacular.

An excellent trip with a superb guide - Started well with a very comfy coach, and a cheerful guide. Got better with loads of interesting and informative talks along the way from the guide, the guided tour through the museum kept everyone's attention. Delphi Museum is a fascinating collection, the archeological site is also interesting, beautiful, and a strangely haunting experience. Definitely recommend this tour as the best way to see Delphi.

Delphi Stories - We traveled with our two grand daughters, ages 18 and 20. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable. She entertained us with the stories of the gods and how they interacted with each other and with humans. Although it was a long drive, the scenery was spectacular. Our grand daughters thought that this tour was the best of our entire trip.

Something to do if you have time - If you are REALLY in to Greek history, and understand the importance of this site, then it is definitely worth going. If however, you only have a vague interest, I'm not sure this will be interesting enough for you. The day is long (6 hours worth of driving overall), and as amazing as our tour guide was, it felt a bit rushed when we were there. We had 60 minutes for the museum, and 60 for Delphi - and it didn't feel enough. I do need to caveat this by saying that during our trip, there were strikes on the road, so we had to travel the long way - which may have eaten into our time. I had a bit of the background to everything, so I was able to connect some of the dots, but my Wife was left a bit underwhelmed by everything. We just didn't have the time for the importance of this site to land. The Arachova stop was pleasant, however we were there on a VERY busy day, so it felt overcrowded and not as enjoyable as it could have been. On a quieter day, I would guess this would be quite nice. But to give you an example of how busy this was, we had to walk 20 minutes to our coach as there was nowhere nearer for it to stop! If you have the time in your schedule, and you are interested, give this a go. If you have limited time, perhaps look elsewhere. It is a pricy excursion if you are not fully into it.
