• Arachova - Arachova is a charming mountain town and former municipality in the western part of Boeotia, Greece, originally known as Karyai (also spelled Caryae). Its name, of South Slavic origin, signifies a place with walnut trees. It is a popular tourist destination due to its mountainous location, rich traditions, and proximity to Delphi.
  Arachova offers a panoramic view, quaint uphill houses, and cobbled streets that showcase picturesque architecture. The town center features a large and steep cliff, the Bell Tower, adorned with dense ivy. Atop the tower is a prominent 10-meter-high clock. Arachova is renowned for its black wine, its brusque, colorful textiles, carpets, rugs, handicrafts, and woodcut creations.
• Livadia - Livadeia is a town in central Greece and serves as the capital of the Boeotia regional district.
  The area surrounding Livadeia is mountainous, with farming primarily taking place in the valleys. The region has a history of producing and processing cotton and tobacco, as well as cultivating cereal crops and raising livestock. The city is also noted for its participation in the Trojan War, allied with Mycenae.
• Mount Parnassus - Mount Parnassus is a majestic mountain in central Greece, towering above Delphi, north of the Gulf of Corinth.
  Mount Parnassus offers numerous benefits to the people of Greece. In times of peace, it provides breathtaking views of the countryside, featuring olive groves and rolling hills. The mountain is home to historically, archaeologically, and culturally significant sites (such as Delphi). Recreationally, Parnassus offers hiking opportunities in the warmer seasons and skiing in winter. Its melting snows supply water to nearby communities, extending as far as Athens. The mountain is composed of limestone, with rock containing bauxite, an ore rich in aluminum. In times of conflict, Parnassus has served as a center of resistance, offering cover and refuge to partisans.

• Delphi Archaeological Museum - The Delphi Archaeological Museum is one of Greece’s premier museums and among the most visited. Operated by the Greek Ministry of Culture, it was founded in 1903 and has been reorganized several times. It houses discoveries from the Panhellenic sanctuary of Delphi, dating from the Late Helladic (Mycenaean) period to the early Byzantine era.
  The museum is organized into fourteen rooms on two levels, primarily displaying statues, including the famous Charioteer of Delphi, architectural elements like the frieze of the Siphnian Treasury, and ex-votos dedicated to the sanctuary of Pythian Apollo, such as the Sphinx of Naxos. The exhibition space covers more than 2,270 square meters, while storage and conservation rooms (for mosaics, ceramics, and metals) occupy 558 square meters.

The Tholos of Athena Pronaia is a circular building with a distinctive architectural design, featuring a ring of Doric columns surrounding a central chamber. Built in the 4th century BCE, this unique structure served as a sanctuary dedicated to Athena Pronaia, a variant of the goddess Athena worshipped in Delphi.
Stand before the elegant columns and intricate stonework of the Tholos and imagine the awe and reverence it inspired in ancient worshippers. In the shadow of Mount Parnassus and overlooking the sacred precincts of Delphi, this sanctuary would have been a focal point for religious rituals, offerings, and oracular consultations.

• Temple of Apollo - The Temple of Apollo, the god of music, harmony, light, healing, and oracles, held the most important and prominent position in the Delphic Panhellenic Sanctuary. The structure with the partially restored colonnade visible today dates to the 4th century BC; it is the third temple built on the same site. The famous oracle, the Pythia, operated within the temple, chosen according to one tradition due to a sacred chasm beneath the site emitting vapors, which were inhaled by the Pythia. Some ancient writers claim that the Pythia then entered a state of delirium, uttering inarticulate cries, which were interpreted into equivocal oracles by the priests. This interpretation is controversial and has been challenged by scholars such as Joseph Fontenrose and Lisa Maurizio, who argue that ancient sources consistently depict the Pythia speaking intelligibly and delivering prophecies in her own voice.
