A day of breathtaking views and cultural wonders - We purchased the tour directly from the Meteora Thrones website, and the confirmation with all the details and information arrived in our email incredibly fast, providing a great sense of security. We opted for the one-day Meteora tour in English with a train, but due to significant floods in Athens, the journey was made by bus. All of this was explained perfectly in the email. Although the trip was long, it would have been the same duration if taken by train. The good part was that the bus was very comfortable and new, equipped with WiFi (which worked quite well) and USB ports to charge our phones. This was super useful as it's a long day filled with activities and photo opportunities, and you wouldn't want to run out of battery. The tour itself was fantastic, with breathtaking views, especially on the exceptionally beautiful day we had. The three monasteries we visited were incredible, especially the first two. Keep in mind that the choice of when to take the tour matters, as some monasteries have specific days when they are closed. A heads-up is that there are dress codes to follow for entry, something that is also detailed in the email. Our guide Maria spoke perfect English, was super friendly, and provided a lot of information and explanations throughout the tour. Moreover, the timing was perfect to reach a beautiful point in Meteora for the sunset. Highly recommend this tour; we enjoyed it immensely.

An unforgetable tour - There was no train so the trip from Athens to Meteora and back was by bus. I must recommend this tour because it is very interesting, the visit included three monasteries and is amazing how those monasteries were built so many years ago. The views are excellent, specially for those fans of photography. It is a tour that you cann´t miss.

Can't miss this if you go to Greece!! - There was no train service, so the agency arranged bus transportation for the trip. It was comfortable, with proper stops to buy food and go to the toilet. We would have preferred no music/radio for a 4 hs trip though. At Kalambaka, we were changed to a mini van. The guide spoke a very good Spanish and gave us information about the town, monasteries and more! He was very kind and funny. Totally recommend to go to Meteora with a guided tour.

Awesome - That was the best tour in my life. The train was replaced howewer with a bus due to current flooding conditions, but it was quite well organized. First, because this place is Amazing and you can't realize if that is a real and not a Magic. Second, that the local from Calambakal tour guide Clement was a real professional 👏. Thank you!!!!! Comments: Transportation busses doesn't have a restroom, quite dirty and this is 4 hours ride to each side. Driver needed to be reminded to turn AC on and was puffing inside. Other than that ,our tour was great and will remain in our memories forever ♥️.

A magical experience - This was my third visit to Kalambaka and Meteora, a magical place where I admire the wonder of nature and the perseverance of human will. It was the second time a booked a tour with Meteora Thrones, a very professional agency. The guide, named Sarah, was knowledgeable and accurate, kind and timely, and fluent in Spanish. Highly recommended!

Highly recommended visit - It's a long trip if you do it in one day (departure and return from Athens), but it's worth it. The views are incredible. The arrangements with Meteora Tours were quick and easy. If you have the time, perhaps it would be better to take two days and make a stop in between. By the way, the guide was a very nice and helpful person.
