We arrive an hour before sunrise at the ideal location, offering breathtaking panoramic views of Athens and its landmarks, all illuminated by the beautiful Mediterranean sunrise light!
During this photo experience, the operator will guide you, if desired, in specialized photography techniques to help you create extraordinary magical photos of Athens, or introduce you to the city from this elevated vantage point, highlighting the best ways to capture the sunrise light!
This is a fantastic experience available to anyone eager to admire and photograph an Athenian sunrise, whether a serious photographer or a casual point-and-shoot enthusiast!
- We will meet and walk up a small hill with stair steps included and uneven rocky surface while it is still dark so comfortable walking shoes are suggested.

A magical start to the day - The most perfect way to start your day is by watching the sunrise over the Acropolis! Vasilis is an exceptional photographer and a passionate teacher - I learned so much from him. I was so impressed with this photography tour that I immediately booked another one with Vasilis. Enjoying coffee and pastries from the sunrise spot made the experience even more special. I can highly recommend this photography tour.

Not to be missed - The sunrise photo tour with Vasilis was my tours highlight in Athens, worth the early morning start! A great vantage point of the key landmarks and sunrise. Vasilis was an excellent Guide and knowledgeable photographer ready to encourage and guide. We had a fun and relaxed few hours with opportunity to experiment with different photo styles and techniques and the classic shots while we waited for the sun to come out from behind the small clouds. A tour not to miss if you love photography.

A must do for photographers - Vasilis is a very knowledgable photographer, who is incredibly friendly and easy to get on with. We went as a couple but only my husband is interested in photography, but I was made very comfortable as I sat and read, with Vasilis having brought expressos and breakfast as well.
Unfortunately we didn’t get a lovely sunrise, but that’s nature and we also went in Feb, however my husband really enjoyed the session and would highly rate it for others interested in learning more about their cameras.

A beautiful way to start your day in Athens - This stunning view and the photography pearls were well worth the effort of waking up early for this sunrise tour. Vasilis is both very likeable and quite knowledgeable. He assessed my skill level and equipment and tailored the content accordingly. He also kindly provided coffee and helped me get to to my next tour.
Attached are some iphone shots as I have not yet edited the dslr images.
Just do yourself a favor and take this tour. It is a very beautiful way to start a morning in Athens.

Must do, amazing guide, place, experience! - The Athens sunrise photo tour was an amazing and unique experience that I will never forget. Vasilis is an Athens-born professional photographer with over 30 years of experience and with an incredible love and knowledge of the city. This was a private tour, and felt like a stroll with an old friend. He will meet you where your photography level is. The spot for the tour is incredible, with sweeping views of the entire Acropolis hill, Acropolis museum, and the city below. The sun rises to the right. We started well before the sunrise, and he constantly gave tips on framing, technical aspects, and timing. He made sure we made efficient use of time, since the light changes so fast with as the sun rises. He also gave suggestions on other places to go to photograph Athens and surrounding areas, and even brought breakfast! I came out with amazing pictures, new learnings, and a new friend. I wish every travel destination had a Vasilis. Now stop reading and book a tour! It was definitely one of the highlights of my trip to Greece.

The Best Photo Tour in Athens - Vasilis was a patient, knowledgeable instructor who is passionate about photography. This is infectious and has inspired me to take my photography to the next level of creativity. This was a once in a lifetime experience I will never forget . I was pushed out of my comfort level and lived every minute of this experience. Definitely book a tour with Vasilis if you are looking to be inspired!

Amazing Sunrise Photo Tour - Photographing the sunrise over Athens was on my bucket list, and the highlight of my time in Athens was the Sunrise Photo Tour with Vasilis. Vasilis is such a passionate photographer, guide, and instructor, and his enthusiasm is infectious. Throughout our session, Vasilis made outstanding recommendations on composition and settings that I would not have thought of on my own, resulting in a diverse and outstanding set of sunrise photos over Athens. Vasilis also knows Athens inside and out, so he knows where to go for outstanding shots, and was great about putting Athens and our shooting location into context for me. Beyond getting great pictures, Vasilis made watching the sunrise over Athens an amazing experience. I highly recommend booking a tour or session with him while you are in Athens.

A fantastic morning! - Vasilis was excellent! Even though I’m a local, and been in that spot before, Vasilis made me see it with brand new eyes like it was the first time I visited.
As a photography enthusiast, I decided to take this tour to elevate my photographic knowledge. I was totally happy with Vasilis, got away with spectacular photos and enjoy this morning very much.
