Save time - hire a guide who knows excellent shoot locations - I had a fantastic time meeting up with Theofilos, who was very knowledgeable of the area. I had a limited amount of free time since I was on a work trip, so time was of the essence. He had terrific knowledge of key points of interest and helped me carry my gear while also doing a bit of crowd control to minimize people getting in the way of my shots. He also had a good command of knowing how much light we had left, timing each spot perfectly. We are both professional photographers, so it was fun comparing notes and techniques. I whole-heartedly recommend hiring Athens Photo Tour if you want amazing spots with amazing results.

Photographing Athens at sunset. - My tour guide was so helpful. He gave me a lot of tips and elements to consider when taking photographs. He took me to places that I never would have known about. He extended the tour time so that I could capture another photograph from a different view. I recommend this tour.

Great photos, great memories - Panos took me to some wonderful spots to get some great photos. He was patient and offered great tips on taking better photos. There was a lot of walking, but the memories from the photos are certainly worth it.

Athens Photo Walk - Thoroughly enjoyed my photo walk with Panos. He shared a lot of history of the different locations we photographed, and also provided useful suggestions both for camera settings and compositions. Walking the city with Panos also helped me learn my way around a bit better, and I was able to go visit some of the spots he showed me with my wife the next day. Walking with Panos was a great experience - if you're into photography, I highly recommend doing this photo walk!

Guidance, knowledge and a fun evening - A memorable evening strolling the streets of central Athens with Panos. The locations were great and I enjoyed the information about the history and current life. Panos was a great guide, knowledgeable and helpful photography tips for my level. Recommended for all.

Evening walking photography tour. - Panos was a great tour guide, the walking tour took us up to one of the best views of the Parthenon during the evening as the sun was setting giving me beautiful light.
After coming down the hill we were able to get some amazing night shots throughout the city. Panos was a wealth of information about the city as well as photo techniques.

If you're serious about getting great photos while in Athens take this tour! - The guide was amazing. He was patient, kind, and extremely knowledgeable about amazing places to go and see, equipment, and photography. I would suggest the tour to anyone interested in getting great photos in Athens from a local professional photographer who knows the spots and how to get the most from them. Thanks again for all the great pointers and tour Panos!

Beautiful Professional Photos! - We received a photoshoot in Athens as a wedding gift and it was absolutely amazing! Our photographer took us to all the spots to capture beautiful photos. Even though it was raining a little he did a fantastic job guiding us and getting some stunning photos. Highly recommend this!

Athens Photography Tour - I had a few hours to spare in Athens during a work trip and wanted to see what photo opportunities I could find. Rather than wandering around aimlessly I was looking for a local guide and found the Athens Photography Tour and Dimitris. I then managed to forget my camera but Dimtris kindly loaned me his and also send me the images as a follow up.
I really enjoyed the early morning walk around some of the famous sights of Athens and it really makes a difference if you have a local person to guide you and in this case a professional photographer as well. A highlight was the Olympic stadium as well as the old town. A very enjoyable time out from a work trip, my only regret was that I had limited time so hopefully i will get a chance to return in the future and perhaps try one of the other Athens Photography tours.

If you enjoy photography, don’t hesitate to book this experience - This was a terrific opportunity to explore Athens before most people were awake and be with a guide who not only knew the places to go at the right part of the morning for the best photographs, but really spent the time to work on composition.
My guide, Panos, became a great friend in the few hours we had together. He was patient and a great teacher but, more importantly, he was genuinely concerned that I had the opportunity to leave with some “wall-worthy” prints. The Acropolis, of course, is the obvious subject, but we also explored the neighborhoods and back alleys to get a chance to see the Athens the locals know.
