• Changing of the Guards - After meeting with the tour leader, the tour will commence with a visit to the Greek Parliament to witness the renowned changing of the guards. This ceremony is conducted by the Greek “Evzones” soldiers and is dedicated to the “Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.” The host will explain the symbolism of the ceremony and provide details about the Greek Parliament building.
• Plaka - Stroll through the famous “Plaka area” and pass by the renowned “Metropolitan Cathedral” of Athens. There will be a brief stop at the oldest house in Athens, which is beautifully restored and perfect for capturing great photos.
• Stoa of Attalos - The next stop is the “Stoa of Attalos,” located at the north entrance of the Ancient Agora of Athens. This beautiful and well-restored building was once the gathering place of ancient Athens and now serves as the museum of the Ancient Agora. The building and its surroundings are well illuminated, offering the chance for stunning night photos while the guide explains the historical background.
• Anafiotika - Explore the charming narrow streets of Anafiotika, the oldest neighborhood in Athens, which brings a Cycladic Islands’ feel to the heart of the city.
• Acropolis - The Acropolis is a must-see on this tour. It is the highlight of illuminated Athens! While walking around the Ancient Agora, the guide will lead the group uphill to a fantastic spot for viewing the Acropolis at night and the illuminated Parthenon. Prepare cameras for some of the best photos!

• Ancient Agora of Athens - The area of the ancient forums or Ancient Agora covers the entire southwest foothill of the Acropolis hill. • Temple of Hephaestus - Just before dinner, there is another excellent photo opportunity here! It is the best-preserved temple in Greece. The monument is dedicated to the God of Fire, and the surrounding lights highlight the fine lines of the monument’s architecture.
• Thiseio - It’s time for a break! The route will lead to the area of Thiseio. A visit to a traditional Greek Taverna is planned. There will be an opportunity to experience dining like the ancient Greeks, enjoying delicious traditional food, drinks, and, most importantly, engaging in discussions and getting to know each other. This is what the ancient Greeks called a “Symposium.”
