Wonderful tour of Athens! - Highly recommend! I have some mobility issues and this activity is completely customizable. I was still able to see everything and discuss options. Our driver, Christos, and our guide a Victoria, were so amazing! We learned so much on our commute to the locations.

Excellent tour company. - Victoria and Christof were wonderful. Engaging, present, open to anything different or additional that the group might want. Although the tour was perfect as it was done. Great history and review of Greek history. Highly recommend them.

Outstanding Half Day Private Tour of Athens - We were very impressed with Yiannis. He drove us around Athens in an air conditioned Mercedes Benz and showed us the highlights of Athens with outstanding commentary. At the end of the tour we enjoyed a typical Greek meal. I have no hesitation in recommending the Best of Athens Half Day Private Tour with Yiannis.

✨✨✨ Exceptional Acropolis tour with great guide - Our visit to the Acropolis in Athens was absolutely unforgettable, and a huge part of that was thanks to our driver and guide, Yiannis. From the moment he picked us up, everything was smooth, professional, and well organized. But what really set Yiannis apart was his deep knowledge of Greek history and his ability to bring the ancient world to life while we explored the Acropolis. Standing in front of the Parthenon, hearing the stories behind its construction, its destruction, and the incredible restoration efforts underway today made the experience far more meaningful than simply walking through ruins. Yiannis also made sure we didn't miss the details many visitors overlook - from the elegant Caryatid statues at the Erechtheion to the incredible acoustics and design of the Theater of Dionysus, one of the oldest theaters in the world. What I appreciated most was how he balanced storytelling, historical context, and practical guidance. He knew exactly when to explain, when to let us take in the views of Athens, and when to recommend the best photo spots (which made for some incredible pictures). Yianis Pappas clearly takes pride in sharing the history and culture of Athens, and it shows. If you're planning to visit the Acropolis and want an experience that goes beyond just seeing the monuments, I highly recommend touring with him.

Tour of Athens - The tour was nice and the tour guides were very nice and informative. The tour vehicle was a Mercedes van and was very spacious for three. The only down side is that it is not clear that to visit the major attraction acropolis is not included. We had to buy separate tickets for like 30 euros each to visit it, and the tour guide was not allowed to accompany us. We had to walk through it on our own. A tour titled "tour of Athens" should include a visit to the acropolis and Parthenon. Same thing happened when we added on a trip to the coast to see the temple of Poseidon. We had to pay an additional 20 euros each, we didn't expect this and the tour guide didn't come in with us.

Informed - Yianis was informative and polite with good English. He gave us a choice of museum or agora. I would have liked to see or be offered a written? List of places to go. Included lunch was tasty but a LONG way out of town & whole restaurant was empty but for us yet we felt rushed as courses came almost all at once. I would have preferred coffee instead of icecream but no choice was offered. Tour was very expensive

Not the best but not the worst - The overall day ended up being great, but the experience wasn’t super well planned. Unfortunately we went when there was a half marathon going on in downtown Athens so we couldn’t go see majority of the items on the itinerary. I felt like this should have been disclosed beforehand. The marathon was planned well before we booked the tour. So this was a big bummer. We only went to a couple of stops on the itinerary but the Acropolis/ Parthenon was our #1 and we made it there, we figured let’s make the most out of what we are getting so we didn’t let it get us down. Antony our driver and tour guide was wonderful, super friendly and very knowledgeable. Like I said overall we had a great day but the tour because of the marathon was very minimal.

Not what we expected - We had a trainee along with an experience guide. As a result, the experience guide was focused on the trainee who was on his second day .definitely impacted the experience. I blame the company not the two individuals with us. They should not be training their employees at the expense of their customers. In addition, we drove 40 minutes to a lunch place that was the best average when there was plenty of other restaurants nearby. So we spent 40 minutes with very little conversation from the guides to lunch and then back to our hotel. This extended the tour 50 minutes past the schedule time and easily should have been avoided. Spending almost an hour and a half driving to a restaurant makes little sense.
