This tour is extremely adaptable…! I can modify the itinerary, length, and activities to suit your preferences. Feel free to share any particular requests you may have.
- For 1-4 passengers the tour will be provided with a Mercedes Benz Eclass. For 5-8 travellers the tour will be provided with a Mercedes Benz Minivan.For 9-20 passengers the tour will be provided with a Mercedes Benz Sprinter.
- We can pick our customers up from wherever they want inside the region of Athens.
- If the pick up is from the Airport or from the cruise dock please provide all the details to the operator after from the pickup.
- If there is a Strike in The city Center or a special event that effects the tour,the tour may change start time or ITINERARY under the instructions of the operator and the agreement of the customer
- Please provide as much as possible contact details to the operator even after the booking
- If the booking will start from Ath Int Airport the time of the tour start to count fro the pickup of the customer,so do not stress your self in cases of Delay of flights.
- If the tour is combined with a transfer the Maximum Luggage ( american size 32kl) can be no more than 3 and the start time of the tour starts at the time of the first pickup eg :( There is a customer that buys a tour starting from Cruise terminal but first he/she wants to be transferred to his Hotel to do the check in and then to start the tour. ) if the customer wants extra services than the ones that paid for,the operator will charge him extra and the payment will be done to the driver in cash or credit card.

Excellent Tour! - Dallas was our tour guide, and he did a great job getting us to all of the sites we wanted to see and more. He also shared lots of history with us, it was fascinating information. We ended with a lovely Greek meal, the food was wonderful and the service was great. I highly recommend this company for your tour of Athens.

The 5-star trip of Athens - This is the best choice i’ve made for Athens trip! Managed to see the city in 5 hours with a 5-star service and history lessons! Sebastian was so kind, knowledgeable, and supportive, he planned the trip very well. I am definitely planning more guided trips with them.

Athens Tour with Sebastian, Theodores Travel. - If you are in Athens for a short, or a long time (we had one day), it can be a very unpleasant experience or one that is rich and rewarding. There is much that is disagreeable about Athens, especially around the area with the richest history. It is crowded, confusing and very difficult to get around. But there is also so much that should not be missed. If you try to see it on your own you will likely come away with a bad feeling about Athens.
Our Viator tour with Theodores Travel was the best decision we could have made. My wife and I agree that it would have taken us a week to see what we saw in one 5-hour afternoon with our driver, Sebastian. And we would have been long over it. Sebastian is a very young local with an impressive knowledge of Athens, history and Athen's historical connections with many other countries. He was just great.
If you can, book one half-day to begin. Then perhaps another half-day if you want more, either to see new sights or to revisit those you really enjoyed on the first day. One-half day was as much as we could absorb at one time. But there is a lot more.
One recommendation. Theodores was very hospitable, arranging dinner in a very quaint place. But, the restaurant was about 20 minutes away from our last stop and our hotel in the main part of town. We were tired, Sebastian was tired and he still needed to return us to our hotel and travel home. If your trip is in the afternoon, I would say thank you very much for the dinner, but ask for a restaurant referral close to your hotel, go back, clean up, rest up, and go our for a nice meal to talk about your day. You will enjoy it more with no hurry to complete dinner.
The tour seems expensive, and it is. But you get every dollar of value. We would have spent as much or more on rental car, or taxis, and hotels and time (would take more time) to see what we were able to see with Sebastian. And we would have been exhausted. The tour was so worth the cost.
We stayed at the Grand Hyatt Athens. Also worth the extra cost.

Our driver was amazing... - Our driver was amazing from start to finish. We saw all the famous Athenian sights as well as some not so well known. The day ended with a lovely meal at a quaint restaurant owned by Theodores Private tours. We all had a great time.

Hike up Acropolis is... - Hike up Acropolis is tough. Traffic rate limiting. Guide was great. Dallas very knowledgeable.

1/2 day Athens tour with Yannis - We had a great tour of Athens and saw all the major sites. Yannis was fantastic and gave us a great history lesson! Car was comfortable and he had water and other drinks for us

Great Athens tour - Dallas was a great guide for our Athens tour. He is funny and informative and gave us lots of great incite about the history of this area . I would highly recommend him!!

Disappointing! - Our driver was very nice, but spoke very little English. He was a driver, and did not give any specifics about the monuments, etc. The biggest disappointment was the "lunch at a local area". We got on the highway and drove nearly an hour (each way) to a restaurant. The lunch was good (not great). Baklava was prepackaged! So, we wasted at least two hours when we could have been exploring Athens.
