- Acropolis - The Acropolis is a significant natural plateau from the 5th Century B.C., standing 150 meters above sea level and encircled by a formidable wall that provided excellent defense against invaders. During this visit, you will encounter the main entrance of the Acropolis, the Propylaea, alongside the proud Temple of Wingless Nike. At the summit, you’ll find the Temple of Erechtheion, featuring a porch supported by the statues of the Maiden Women Karyatids, and the Parthenon, the Temple of Athena Parthenos, crafted from Pentelic marble. As you descend towards your meeting point, explore the ruins of the Amphitheater of Dionysos, the god of entertainment and wine, and the well-preserved Herodion, a music school established by the renowned 2nd-century Sophist Herodes Atticus in memory of his wife Regilla, which continues to host musical and theatrical performances by celebrated artists.
