• Acropolis - MEETING THE GUIDE. The guide will be waiting at Makrygianni Street near the Acropolis Metro stop, conveniently located close to the Acropolis Main Entrance. She will be holding a sign with your name on it.

  These tickets will be purchased in advance for the designated time slot, and the guide will have them ready to ensure a smooth tour experience. You will reimburse her directly for the cost (35 Euro per Acropolis Ticket).
  MUSEUM AND ANCIENT AGORA OPTIONS.
  If you have chosen to include either of these sites in your booking, the guide will have these tickets ready, and you will reimburse her an additional 25 Euro per ticket.
• Theatre of Dionysus - Remarkably well-preserved, our first stop is the Ancient THEATER OF DIONYSUS. Constructed in the 4th and 5th century BC in a natural amphitheater on the Acropolis slopes, it had an impressive capacity of 25,000 and is considered the world’s oldest. It’s fascinating to think that many renowned Ancient Greek plays premiered here!
• Propylaea - Ascend towards the monumental gateway (Propylaia) and entrance to the Acropolis.

As the Temples of the Acropolis come into view, the Ancient Greeks would have been greeted by a massive decorated Bronze Statue of the Goddess Athena. According to legend, the tip of her raised spear could be seen by incoming ships in the sunlight.

• Temple of Athena Nike - Constructed around 420 BC, this Classical Ionic Temple, one of the earliest on the Acropolis, was dedicated to the Goddess Athena and is largely restored, prominently overlooking the City.
• Erechtheion - The second largest temple on the Acropolis, the Erechtheion was dedicated to both Zeus and the Goddess Athena. The guide will share its fascinating mythology and main features, including its impressive statues now housed in the Museum.
• Parthenon - The pinnacle of the ‘Golden Age’ of Classical Greece, this temple was an unparalleled masterpiece of Art, Architecture, and Engineering, as well as the heart of Ancient Greek ceremony and worship in Athens. Time will be taken at this significant temple to provide an overview of its construction, mythology, and historical importance.
• Herod Atticus Odeon - Built in AD 161 by Herodes Atticus in memory of his wife, this magnificent Marble amphitheater continues to function as a theater to this day.
• Acropolis - CONCLUDING THE TOUR. The guide will return you to the meeting point, or you may choose to stay and enjoy the city’s sights!
