Ideal for those passionate about history, this tour includes a visit to the renowned Acropolis and all its iconic landmarks, as well as an intriguing tour of the Ancient Agora and its museum! Do note that despite our skip-the-line ticket service, some wait time may still be necessary for security checks. This is due to unforeseeable fluctuations in visitor numbers at the sites during the day. The usual wait time ranges between 0 to 10 or 30 minutes, but might extend beyond this on rare instances.

- IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT BABY STROLLERS: Please have in mind that baby strollers are not allowed on the Acropolis archaeological site and that there is no cloakroom at the side entrance we use to enter. For your own convenience, it is recommended to use a baby pouch instead of a baby stroller.
- Strict Acropolis entry times mean we can’t wait for latecomers. No refunds will be given.
- All visitors undergo airport-style security; expect peak season waits of up to 30+ minutes.
- Cutoff times sync with Athens local time.

- If you selected the WITHOUT ticket option It’s up to you to purchase your admission tickets from the official site—a simple but important task to ensure your spot on the tour. - The tour starts with the Acropolis, entering right after the start of the tour and the Agora at approximateley 1pm. It’s crucial to ensure both your tickets’ entry time corresponds with our tour’s specific schedule.

Non-Refundable Tour Fee: Not possessing a valid entrance ticket at the beginning of the tour disqualifies you from joining the tour. We will be waiting for you at 3, Dionyssiou Areopagitou Street. Look for the orange sign displaying "Athens Walking Tours." It is located at the start of the pedestrian walkway that leads to the Acropolis from Hadrian's Arch, Siggrou Avenue (also written as Syngrou).

Great Tour! - This was an excellent tour! We did the Acropolis and the Agora. The guide was excellent. I would recommend just buying the tickets through them as well.

Acropolis - The Acropolis was awesome. Learned a lot about the history. The architecture was amazing. It was very interesting how they are restoring it. The view of Athens was fantastic!

Outstanding Tour of Acropolis and Museum with Faye Georgiou! - We were very lucky to have found Faye Georgiou for a private tour of the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum. The 4 hours with Faye was a master class offered in the most entertaining and enjoyable way. Following a cruise we found ourselves with only half a day and an evening in Athens. We clearly made the most of our time thanks to Faye. Faye has impeccable credentials and has a true passion for her work. She made us feel special and could not be more helpful. We will definitely return to Athens and engage Faye for additional sightseeing.

Great Tour of the Acropolis! - We had a fabulous tour with Vicky Z. She was friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Since we went in the middle of the heat wave, Vicky was also very considerate of how we were feeling and trying to best time the tour. We would definitely do this again!

Walking Tour - Hot but good! - It was very hot, so they canceled the city tour but gave us a refund for that portion. Our guide did a nice job of getting us to the top and telling us all the details along the way. She also had lots to tell us in the Acropolis museum.

Excellent orientation to the history and ancient culture - Tour guide was very knowledgeable, energetic, and friendly. She was patient with some in the group who had difficulty with some of the climbs in the heat. She always tried to find shady spots to tell us historical facts and interesting information. The tour itself was the right length for young and more mature tourist who were acclimating to the climate and trying to take in all the scenery as well.

Beautiful experience - Very organized and kind personel: we forgot to buy tickts for the agora and museum but the were prepeared for this evenince. Vasso was a very nice tour guide who replied kindly to all our questions.

A solid experience in Athens - This was an excellent guided tour. Operators were at the meeting place with ample time to check everyone in. The listening devices (whispers) allow for everyone to listen to the tour guide with ease and without needing to crowd. Our tour guide, Katia Koul was excellent, bringing the ruins to life with the narration in excellent English and hear wealth of knowledge. The pace of the tour is a comfortable one, with time to ask questions without getting too distracted. I recommend doing the Agora also, for a full view of this important spot in history.

Excellent tour guide but silly starting hour - This is the only tour that I found was combining Ancient Argora and Acropolis. My tour guide Sissy was knowledgeable in her domain, I really enjoyed our chat on faminism and philosophy.
I find the organisation's set start time being a problem. All tour companies start their tour at the same time at 11am, therefore causing looonngg queues inside the Acropolis from 11 am to 3pm. Why??!! You could have started with Ancient Argora first then head to Acropolis after, or start in the afternoon and finish before sunset. The entire experience of visiting the Acropolis is undermined with the stressful long queue.
