Our fabulous tour guide was Aphrodite - This tour was our highlight of Athens. The tour guide always makes the difference and our guide was Aphrodite. She was so personable and knowledgeable. We had plenty of time for viewing and she kept us moving. I don't feel like we missed anything. This was a wonderful and memorable experience thanks to Aphrodite.

An Absolute Must! - If you only have 1 day in Athens - I would 100% recommend this tour. Especially if you lucky enough to have Petros as your tour guide!
I love everything about Greek history and mythology and my Wife only has a vague interest, but this tour catered to us both wonderfully! There were stories about mythology, explanations into history, fascinating information about architecture - all delivered by someone who was passionate about the subject.
The climb was obviously high, but the guide made sure we had lots of stops and places to rest, all whilst giving us wonderful information. Be sure to dress appropriately, and plan for the weather. The floors can be a bit slippery.
This was genuinely one of the better tours I have been on, and although it seems a bit pricey, it is definitely value for money. I would recommend adding the museum to your trip as it really brings home where the missing pieces of Athens culture are (I'm looking at you British Museum!).
I will be suggesting this tour to anyone who tells me they are going to Athens - it was honestly that good!

Really fun and interesting - John the archaeologist was an excellent tour guide. Really informative and friendly. Would strongly recommend booking both the tour and the acropolis museum pass to get the full experience.

High Recommend the Acropolis and Acropolis Museum Tour - We did the Acropolis and Acropolis Museum tour at 8am, and we really enjoyed the tour! The timing was nice to get ahead of large crowds, and our guide provided amazing information. The tour and our knowledgeable guide provided amazing information on the site, its history, and provided context for how the site was created and its importance in the time period. Having a guide in the museum was worth the price! Our guide was amazing for taking us through the museum and providing so much information about the items in the museum and why they are important. It allowed us to appreciate the site and museum to a greater extent and learn so much more! I cannot recommend this tour enough!

Knowledgeable guide provides a comprehensive view of history - This was a very well run tour. Giannas was a very knowledgeable tour guide and made our trek up the acropolis easy to maneuver, with all the other tourists. It also provided historical information and viewing options to surrounding sites. Include the museum tour to associate what you just saw at the Parthenon, it brings the whole experience together. I would highly recommend this tour.

Fascinating Tour! - When in Athens, I highly recommend this tour. Selena, our tour guide was the best! Even though we were in a group of about 15 people, I felt like Selena was our own private tour guide. The information that she gave us was so fascinating. We were on the 4-hour walking tour. It also included a tour of the museum with our guide. When considering this tour, the museum is also a must see because many of the ancient art decorations have been preserved and displayed in the museum. That in itself, was so educational and beautiful. The walk up to the Parthenon, while moderately challenging, can also be a bit difficult because of the slippery rocks at some points on the walk. Make sure you bring water and sunscreen as directed. We were here on a beautiful sunny day in October, and we were very happy to have both. The tour was an eye-opening, up close and personal exploration of ancient Athens. Thanks to Selena for making this experience memorable. For these reasons, I highly recommend this tour.

Experienced, accredited guide provided an insightful tour. - We arrived early and luckily joined a tour quickly to avoid the heat. Our guide was an accredited archaeologist and was very personable, experienced and knowledgeable with impeccable English. We were guided through the Acropolis and The Parthenon (and the other tourists) with our guide finding spots to stop and impart information. We then went on to the impressive museum where our guide encouraged us to stay on our own after the tour to maximise our experience. 100% recommend.

Well organize and good group size experience - We like how the activity was organized
All in time with our comfort in mind letting us making washroom visits when it was the good time and we did an early time slot
We saw many people and we can only imagine how crowded would be later
Impressive monuments that cannot be missed and very worthy the licensed guide information
Probably you still like the temple and Parthenon and the entrance to the acropolis due to its size and magestic presence but without the history and explanations it’s an empty beauty
Acropolis museum is a must visit ! The design and the layout all has been planned and we enjoyed the excavation museum included with the ticket
