Memorable - Great trip. Best to have the more expensive option. The hotel was great and the food was superb. The stores next to the hotel was the highlight of the trip. Beautiful artisanal pieces for furniture and clothing

Lovely trip - Even though it is far from Athens it’s so worth it. Very nice and knowledgeable tour person Maria ( sorry for miss spelling your name) Not only showed the attractions but informed about local goods worth to try. Comfortable hotel and accommodation.

Coming in the off season,... - Coming in the off season, our tour group was small and the sites less crowded. Many thanks to our amazing guide, who was very experienced and knowledgeable and made this trip a great one despite the poor weather on the second day.

Great trip - There is a lot of time spent on the bus, but the views are pleasant and it's nice to see rural parts of Greece. Meteora is one of the most beautiful spots I have seen and going in November was amazing, the Fall leaves were still on the trees. Meteora and Delphi were amazing. The places we stopped to eat were pretty awful

Touching the sky! - It was worth every penny. The overnight was wise, as it gave the right amount of attention to each site. The Tour Guide was knowledgeable, cheerful and very considerate especially when climbing hills and stairs ... and there is lot of climbing. So glad I booked this tour. Both sites are spectacular and a must for history lovers.

Would recommend! 10/10 - Completely amazing experience to two other world feeling locations. Packed with a lot of information about both sites and the country itself. Our tour guide was so passionate and kept everything well organized. Despite the driver being amazing, Dramamine was a must for me to take due to the route.

Well organised tour with Hirula, Stellos and the guide who started the tour with us. - The tour was well organised.we had 2 guides one who took us to Delphi and the other from Delphi till tour end. Both were very knowledgeable and friendly. Please ensure that you have good walking shoes when climbing up Delphi as in some parts it’s just gravel. Also ensure that you bring a bottle of water. Since the climb + the time taken to absorb the history takes about a hour and a half the tour ends up closer to midday and there may not be sufficient time to visit the museum as it’s time for lunch and the drive to lunch is about half and hour away. If the tour is to include the museum then I think the tour should start around 7.30 am. The drive to kalambaka is very interesting on the winding roads. Along the way our guide Harula who joined us from Delphi gives us the history of the 300 Spartans and the allies who held back a larger Persian army. We were given an opportunity to take photos where they are buried. Harula ensured that we were checked into our hotels. We chose the 4 star hotel and found the room , the dinner n breakfast to be good for the extra money we paid. The trip to the monasteries were great with Harula providing us with all the history. We arrived back to Athens around 6.30pm .it was a very well organised trip and we had Stellos the coach driver who was great , he always parked closed to the sites that we were visiting so that we didn’t have to walk a long distance. Hirula was also great very knowledgeable approachable and with a good sense of humour. Finally there were ample toilet breaks so it was not a rush affair.

Central Greece - A lot of time on the bus. Bus ride was windy and step hills so if you get nausea in buses beware. Take Dramamine if you think you need it.

A Very Good Option to See Delphi and Meteora on a 2 Day Coach Tour from Athens - Overall, this was a well-organized and enjoyable tour that allowed us to pack in visits to Delphi and Meteora in the limited time we had while staying in Athens. The coach bus provided was comfortable and was only about 2/3 full so plenty of room to spread out. Our tour guide on the first day when visiting Delphi was outstanding. Even though I wish we had more time at the site that would have allowed a visit to the museum, we were given spare time to make the hike past the Ancient Theater and up to the Ancient Stadium after seeing the Temple of Apollo. There was a tour guide switch at Delphi and unfortunately our new guide was really sub-par. Although filled with much knowledge, her communication abilities were lacking as she droned on in a robotic, badly rehearsed manner. Part of it may have been her lack of English skills as I believe that French and Greek were her first languages. She seemed very new as a tour guide. Meteora was spectacular and the tour of Varlaam was excellent although St Stephan's was less enjoyable given the crowds of tourists at this site. I wish we could have seen more than just 2 of the monasteries but it is understandable given the time constraints. However, we did make several stops along the roadside for great photo opportunities of the region. Lunch on Day 1 was quite good at the Villa Symposium in Delphi. We upgraded to the premium 4-star hotel which was probably not worth it. The Divani Meteora Hotel was nice but felt somewhat outdated. There was a private balcony that overlooked the parking lot and an outdoor pool that we did not use and these items are probably what distinguished it from the 3-star hotel. The dinner served at the hotel and the breakfast buffet which had quite a bit of variety were both of just average quality. In retrospect, I wish I had saved money on the 3 star hotel and used the saved money to find a nice taverna in the town of Kalabaka that night. Our lunch stop on the way back to Athens was at the forgettable roadside stop called Kanelis Village, popular with other coach tours. Overall, even though it involved many hours on the bus, this was a very good tour and well worth the time and money with the exception of our tour guide to Meteora. It offered good value and provided an efficient way to see these two amazing UNESCO World Heritage Sites in less than 36 hours without having to rent a car and drive there ourselves.

2-day trip Delphi and Meteora - This was an excellent way to see two unique sites outside of Athens and they are well worth it. Both leaders/guides were very helpful and shared lots of interesting information about Greece and the local areas along the way. There is a lot of driving time, but that’s the only way to get there, and there are rest stops along the way. We took the 4-star hotel, which was nice but saggy uncomfortable mattresses. Both tour guides (Evan and Catarina) were good.
