High Atlas Mountains - Depart at 8:30 am from Marrakech to Ouarzazate, the gateway to the Deep South, traversing the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizin-Tichka pass (2260 m), offering breathtaking landscapes and Berber villages. Pause for photos, tea, or coffee….
Marrakech-High Atlas Mountains – Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah – Ouarzazate – Skoura Oasis
High Atlas Mountains - Depart at 8:30 am from Marrakech to Ouarzazate, the gateway to the Deep South, traversing the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizin-Tichka pass (2260 m), offering breathtaking landscapes and Berber villages. Pause for photos, tea, or coffee.
Ait Ben Haddou - Continue driving through the mountains. Before reaching Ouarzazate, enjoy a visit to the renowned Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and a stunning location for major film productions. Lunch will be served at a lovely restaurant overlooking the Kasbah.
Ouarzazate - Proceed to the city of Ouarzazate, stopping for a few photos of the Kasbah of Taourirt, the city’s historic section.
Kasbah Amridil - Visit one of the finest and less frequented kasbahs in the region.
Skoura - Travel from the Kasbah to the Oasis and guest house, where the first night of the tour will be spent.
DAY 2: Skoura Palm Oasis – Valley of Roses – Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Merzouga
Draa-Tafilalet - After breakfast, begin the journey along the Valley of Roses, with a stop to explore locally made cosmetics from the valley’s abundant roses (if guests are interested). Head to Merzouga, visiting the Valley of the Thousand Kasbahs, Tinghir, the local palm, and Todra Gorges. Continue through Rissani, Erfoud, and Tafilalte Oasis to reach Merzouga. Enjoy a 1.5-hour camel ride to the camp to witness the sunset over the vast sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. Spend the night in a traditional nomad tent, possibly with an enchanting Berber music show while gazing at the stars and the rising moon in the magnificent Sahara.
Vallee Des Roses - Pause to explore locally made cosmetics from the valley’s abundant roses.
Dades Gorges - Stop for photos at Dades Valley.
Tinghir - Visit Todra Gorges.
Merzouga - Camel ride and sunset.
Merzouga – Rissani – Alnif – Draa Valley – Agdez – Ait Saouen Mountains – Marrakech
Alnif - Enjoy a pleasant drive through the rocky desert from Merzouga to Alnif.
Alnif - Pause for a break.
Draa Valley - Stop for photos at Morocco’s largest valley.
Agdz - Pause for lunch.
High Atlas Mountains - Drive from Agdez through the Ait Saouen rocky mountains, then onto the High Atlas Mountains (3 hours).
High Atlas Mountains - Take a break in the High Atlas Mountains.
Marrakech - After the final stop, enjoy a 1.5-hour drive to Marrakech.
