Ksar of Ait-Ben-Haddou - Begin your tour with a morning pickup from your Marrakech accommodation and journey into the High Atlas Mountains in a comfortable, air-conditioned minivan. Travel along the Tizi-n-Tichka pass, passing by traditional Berber villages where shepherds tend to their flocks as they have for millennia. Your first stop is the UNESCO World Heritage site of Aït Benhaddou kasbah, a historic meeting point for locals and travelers to socialize and trade. Tinghir – Merzouga – Erg Chebbi

Erg Chebbi Dunes - After breakfast at your hotel, board your minivan and travel along the renowned ‘Road of 1000 Kasbahs’ to Tinghir. Walk through the oasis to the impressive Todra Gorge, where a deep crevasse in the orange limestone offers breathtaking views. Enjoy lunch at your leisure (at your own expense) in a local cafe. In the afternoon, visit the sacred town of Rissani, the birthplace of Morocco’s ruling royal family and the historic capital of the Tafilalet region. Continue to Merzouga, a small village on the edge of the Sahara Desert. Meet your camel caravan and, as the sun sets, journey towards Erg Chebbi and your desert camp. Enjoy dinner and an evening under the stars with traditional music from local nomads before retiring for the night. Overnight: campsite in the Sahara Desert.

Erg Chebbi – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

Exploring the Atlas Mountains - Start your day with an optional early-morning walk to watch the sunrise over the sand dunes before breakfast. Ride your camel back to Merzouga and meet your driver to begin the return trip to Marrakech. Stop for lunch in Ouarzazate (at your own expense) and then continue through the stunning landscapes of the High Atlas Mountains.
