The journey from Marrakech to the Morocco Desert begins at 07:30 AM, departing from the hotel or riad towards Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou via the Tizi Ntichka pass and the majestic High Atlas Mountains. Several stops will be made along the route. Visit the UNESCO World Heritage site, Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, which has been a backdrop for numerous Hollywood films. The trip continues to Ouarzazate for a leisurely lunch. In the afternoon, the drive proceeds to the Skoura oasis to explore one of Morocco’s best-preserved Kasbahs: Amridil. The journey then continues to Kalaa Mgrouna through the Valley of the Roses, arriving at a charming guest house in Dades Valley. Dinner and overnight stay.

Camel Ride Day

Erg Chebbi Dunes - DAY 2: DADES - GORGES - TODGHA - ERFOUD - MERZOUGA DESERT: After breakfast, the adventure begins with a drive towards the Tinghir oasis. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the remnants of fortified villages that once hosted caravan routes until the early 20th century. Upon reaching Tinghir, a detour onto a secondary road leads to the oasis. Feel free to stroll alongside the stream and observe locals tending to their farms and herding cattle. The walk concludes at Todgha Gorges, one of the tour’s most stunning sights. After lunch, the journey continues to Rissani, a revered town in Morocco known as the starting point for ancient caravan routes crossing the Sahara Desert to Timbuktu. In the afternoon, the trip proceeds to Merzouga, where camels await. Enjoy a camel ride over the sand dunes to witness a breathtaking sunset. Dinner is accompanied by entertainment from local nomad hosts playing drums. Overnight stay in a tent.

Explore Draa Valley

Nkob - DAY 3: MERZOUGA DESERT - DRAA VALLEY – TIZI N’TICHKA – MARRAKECH
On the final day of the Marrakech to desert tour, witness the desert sunrise early in the morning. The return journey to Marrakech passes through Nkob Draa Valley and Ouarzazate, where a lunch stop is made. The route crosses the Atlas Mountains, concluding in Marrakech with a drop-off at the hotel, marking the end of the 3-day tour.

A group and an experienced driver will pick you up from your hotel as we embark on a 3-day desert tour towards the High Atlas Mountains. We will traverse the Tizi n’Tichka pass, the highest road pass in Morocco at 2260 meters. Our journey continues to Ouarzazate, with a stop at the Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a famous UNESCO site where we will enjoy a guided tour of the local Kasbah. This location has been the backdrop for many Hollywood movies. In Ouarzazate, we will visit the Kasbah and a movie studio.
