I hate Viator - Connecting with Viator was useless when we needed to as our flight was late. Phoned a UK number, no human answered. Viator is useless. We should have been given guide's number immediately when we booked.
Mary our guide was excellent but I will not use Viator again. Not there when they were needed.

Well worth it. - We did this tour 14 March. It is well worth it and so good the Philae was saved. We were especially interested to see the 'Last Hieroglyph'. Our tour guide was excellent. All went well.

Philae temple was nice... - Philae temple was nice and has beautiful views surrounding the area. Ahmed our guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the place.

Great visit to Philae temple - We had a great time here during this trip. Heba was wonderful. We had a private motorboat which was nice as it was chaotic in that area. We had plenty of free time at the end to see the temple and get pictures. Also we got a lot of information from her about the temple. Would recommend.

The heba guide is very good. A very beautiful temple... - The heba guide is very good. It's such a beautiful temple and so much fun. I was staring at it. The guide is also good. It's been fun, fun, fun. The temple is a lot to see, so it's very difficult, but you should see it first.

Ahmed-san guided me around the place even though I didn't understand the language.

Nice experience but beware of shopping - Guide was pleasant and informative. Once again (clearly this is how it works in Egypt) guide tried to push us to shop with his buddies for a commission. It gets old navigating that scam. He also used fake tickets dated Jan 2025 and pocketed the cash, then askedfor them back. It is what it is. We enjoyed the temple and his guidance despite it. If you understand the shopping commission scams, it helps move the experience along.

The tour never happened - Not recommended, the tour never happened. I was told on the day of the tour by the tour advisor that due to unforeseen operation problems, the tour can't take place. No refund was also not provided

The Tour Guide/Drive Never Showed Up - Made reservation with the available date, time slot, pick up hotel provided by Viator website. But the guide/driver never showed up. Both the hotel front desk and I made several phone calls to the tour operator and got NO answer at all. It was terrible, hope Viator will issue a full refund for this.

Pushy guide ruined my tour - The tour itself is fine, quick and in a beautiful temple. However, what is very upsetting is the fact that the guide was very pushy for a 5 star review, to the point that took my phone and wrote it down himself. This is really bad as I wanted to enjoy the scenery and take photos, not write down a comment half way of the tour. This overall ruined my experience
