Rasha Guide - Today is our first day through the company and we would like to leave a comment on the people who have come to pick us up from the hotel. They have been very kind and right now we are with the guide Rasha, amazing. Rasha is being very kind and very honest. He's helping us a lot with his advice.

Unexpected gem! - We had the most expected and wonderful visit. This activity was part of a larger package that was booked for us and we didn’t know what to expect and yet we had so much fun. We din’t have a camel ride but we did get to play with and handle a baby crocodile and water a larger one. It was all unexpected and very fun! Our host was welcoming and showed us around his home and village and even took us to see the local school and we met the most lovely school teacher who game my husband and I a quick little lesson in both Aramaic and the Nubian language. Excellent teacher but terrible students! I just know Mr. Well is the most loving teacher any student could ask for. The whole visit was so unexpectedly fun and colourful! I also bought a scarf that is hand woven by the ladies in the village. It’s a hidden gem of an activity. Plus you get the fun boat ride to get there to enjoy the flora and fauna!

Philae temple private tour - Aswan - Kind tour guide, Heba, who was very knowledgeable. I generally enjoyed the experience and we had plenty of time to explore the various areas. The guide was able to answer all harder questions helping provide a good experience.
The tour we did here was not the one linked and marked above. They do not have that option available. So this review is not about the day trip with camel and nubian village. Rather our tour was to the philae temple.
The company "nice tours" is very strong on their marketing. Bordering between pushy and strongly asking you to write a review. This is understandable though, as it allows them to get the top spot on platforms like get your guide and tripadvisor. No different than the shop owners in the souks pushing you to buy. Consider it part of the culture.

Visit to Aswan and Phlae temple - Waleed Adnan - Nice Tours Guide was very good and showed us the Government Spices Shop where we liked and tasted Nubia Fruit tea and we bought some tea.
Next we went to Stone shop which showed us how stone work is done manually. Shop also had stone pots made by machine. We were surprised to note that Hand made pots although three times bigger than machine made pots was still lighter
Finally the best bit was of Phlae Temple. We took the boat to the island. Walked explained all the history behind the temple and showed us all the photos depicting the story of Iris Godess .

The highlight was undoubtedly the Philae temple - I took the tour with the guide, Heba, and the experience was great. The highlight was undoubtedly the Philae temple. Heba shared the most relevant stories and details, leaving me enough time to explore and take photos. The Nubian Village is charming and has a lot of options for handicrafts and spices.

It’s a shopping trip - The boat ride and camel tour are great. But the Nubian Village is just a endless street of merchants selling souvenirs… plus we saw some give money to our guide so he directs us in their store….. no comments at all on the Nubian civilization, their culture, etc…. Strictly shopping oriented tour.
