Arrival in Aswan, Nile Cruise, and Aswan Tour

Aswan - This morning, a representative will greet you at Aswan airport, station, or your hotel on the east bank of Aswan and transfer you to your Nile cruise. Embarkation is scheduled for 12 pm, followed by lunch on board.

Temple of Philae - Enjoy lunch and meet your guide to explore Aswan’s highlights, including the Philae Temple and the High Dam. Spend the night on board in Aswan.

Abu Simbel Temples (shared group tour by bus or minibus) and Sailing to Kom Ombo

Abu Simbel Temple Complex - Collect your breakfast box. Pickup is at 4:30 am for a visit to one of Egypt’s most significant sites, the Abu Simbel Temples, located 285 km south of Aswan (approximately a 3-hour drive). Return to Aswan around 1 pm, have lunch on board, and begin sailing towards Kom Ombo City.

Temple of Kom Ombo - Arrive at Kom Ombo around 5 to 5:30 pm to visit the temple shared by the gods Sobek and Horus. Return to your ship and start sailing to Edfu City, with dinner on board and an overnight stay in Edfu.

Edfu Temple and Arrival in Luxor

Temple of Horus - In the morning, visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu by horse carriage, then return to your cruise to continue sailing to Esna City. Cross the impressive Esna Lock (similar to the Panama Canal) and arrive in Luxor late in the afternoon. Overnight on board.

Luxor Hot Air Balloon, West and East Bank Tour, Departure Transfer

Unlike the West Bank, which was primarily for cemeteries and mortuary temples, the East Bank was the main settlement area for the living throughout the millennia—a role that remains largely unchanged. Most hotels and tourist facilities are located on the East Bank.

Luxor Temple - The Temple of Luxor, open daily from May to September from 6 am to 8 pm and from October to April from 6 am to 9 pm, is largely the work of Amenhotep III and Ramesses II the Great (whose colossi and obelisk stand at the entrance). Also visible is the small “hanging” Mosque of Abu al-Haggag, reflecting the ground level that had built up before the temple precinct’s excavation.

Luxor - After completing the tour, you will be transferred to Luxor airport, station, or a hotel on the east bank of Luxor.
