Arrival in Aswan and Boarding the Nile Cruise

Aswan High Dam - Guests will be collected from their hotel in Aswan, Aswan Airport, or Train Station. Begin the journey with a professional guide to visit the High Dam, the world’s largest embankment dam, constructed across the Nile in Aswan.

Next, proceed to the Unfinished Obelisk, the largest known ancient obelisk, located in the northern region of the ancient Egyptian stone quarries in Aswan.

Visit the Philae Temple, constructed during the reign of Ptolemy II (Egypt’s Greco-Roman Period), accessible by motorboat. Finally, board the ship for accommodation and lunch in the early afternoon. Dinner will be served on board in the evening.

Abu Simbel Temples Complex Visit - Sailing towards Kom Ombo

Abu Simbel Temple Complex - Around 4:30 AM, the guide will pick up guests for the Abu Simbel trip (shared with a small group). Arrive around 8 AM to explore one of Egypt’s most remarkable sites; the rock-cut temples of Abu Simbel, uniquely designed for King Ramses II and his beloved Queen Nefertari. Return to the cruise by noon for lunch and sail towards Kom Ombo city.

Temple of Kom Ombo - Upon arrival at Kom Ombo, enjoy a guided tour of the temple. Conclude the day with dinner on the ship.

Visit to Edfu Temple - Sailing to Luxor

Temple of Horus - Early in the morning, after breakfast, the guide will escort guests to Edfu Temple by horse carriage. Situated on the west bank of the Nile in Edfu, Upper Egypt, the city was known in the Hellenistic period in Koinē Greek.

Return to the ship for dinner and the final night onboard.

Luxor Temple - If arriving in Luxor early (before sunset), a visit to Luxor Temple will be arranged; otherwise, the visit will occur on Day 4.

Valley of Kings, Hatshepsut Temple & Karnak Temple - Disembarkation

Valley of the Kings - Enjoy an optional hot air balloon ride early in the morning to view Luxor and the Nile from above. Begin historical visits by exploring the Valley of the Kings, where pharaohs of the New Kingdom carved their tombs into the mountains to conceal their treasures and protect their mummies.

Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari - After landing, proceed to the west bank of the Nile to visit the Valley of the Kings, the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon.

Temple of Karnak - Visit Karnak Temple and finally, Luxor Temple. Return to the ship to collect luggage. Guests will be dropped off in Luxor in the afternoon at the train station or their hotel.
