Abu Simbel - Optional tour available at an additional cost. A highlight of Egypt’s tour, the 1290 B.C. memorial temple is carved into a sandstone mountain. The tour starts early at 4:00 a.m. to join the group, with an expected return for lunch on board around 1:30 p.m.
Kom Ombo Temple - Afternoon navigation to Kom Ombo, taking about 3 hours to reach the Kom Ombo Temple, the only double temple in Egypt shared by the crocodile-headed God Sobek and the falcon-headed God Haroeris. The tour concludes with a visit to the crocodile museum. Navigation continues to Edfu for an overnight stay.
