Nubian Village or Abu Simbel Tour & Navigation to Kom Ombo Temple
Abu Simbel Temple Complex - (Optional Tour) At approximately 4:30 am, the guide will pick up guests for a trip to Abu Simbel, either in a small group or as a private tour. Arrive around 8 am to explore the remarkable rock-cut temples of Abu Simbel, designed uniquely for King Ramesses II and his beloved Queen Nefertari. Return to the cruise by noon for lunch and sail towards Kom Ombo city. Note: (Optional Tours) Guests can choose to visit the Nubian village, enjoy the Nubian culture, and admire the scenic Nile River before returning to the cruise for lunch and sailing to Kom Ombo city.
Temple of Kom Ombo - Arrive in Kom Ombo city to visit the dual temple dedicated to Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus, the falcon god. Return to the cruise for dinner and continue sailing to Edfu for an overnight stay.
Edfu Temple & Arrive Luxor (visit Luxor Temple)
Temple of Horus - After breakfast, enjoy a horse carriage ride with the tour guide to visit the Temple of Horus at Edfu, renowned as the most complete and best-preserved of all Egyptian temples. Return to the cruise and relax on deck, taking in the unique landscape and the stunning scenery of the Nile River while sailing to Luxor. Cross Esna Lock and have lunch on board, followed by afternoon tea on the sundeck.
Luxor Temple - Late in the afternoon, arrive at the cruise dock and transfer to explore Luxor Temple on the East Bank of Luxor, showcasing ancient Egyptian, Christian, and Islamic features. Enjoy dinner on board and a belly dancing show. Overnight in Luxor. Note: If arrival at Luxor dock is by 3:00 or 3:30 pm, there is an opportunity to visit both Karnak and Luxor Temples.
