Arrival Transfer to the Nile Cruise & Aswan Tours

Aswan - Egypt Best Day Tours’ licensed tour guide will meet and assist guests at Aswan Airport, railway station, or hotel, and transfer them by air-conditioned van to the 5-star Nile Cruise for check-in before lunch. Lunch is served on board.

Aswan High Dam - The tour begins with a visit to the High Dam, completed in 1960 to protect Egypt from flooding and to generate electricity.

Temple of Philae - Guests proceed to the Graeco-Roman Temple dedicated to the goddess Isis, reached by small motorboat. Afterwards, guests return to the cruise for dinner, a folkloric show, and an overnight stay.

Nubian Village or Abu Simbel Tour & Navigation to Kom Ombo Temple

Abu Simbel Temple Complex - (Optional Tour) Around 4:30, the guide will pick guests up for the Abu Simbel trip (shared small group or private tour). Arriving around 8 am, guests visit one of Egypt’s most impressive sites: the rock-cut temples of Abu Simbel, with their unique design built for King Ramesses II and his beloved Queen Nefertari. Guests return to the cruise by noon for lunch and sail toward Kom Ombo city.
Note: (Optional Tours) Guests have the option to visit the Nubian village and enjoy Nubian culture with the scenery of the River Nile, then return to the cruise for lunch and sail to Kom Ombo city.
Please note that this itinerary is subject to change due to circumstances beyond the supplier’s control. Depending on the cruise itinerary, some Nile cruises may sail on the same day or in the early morning of the following day, while others may depart the following afternoon. The exact sailing time will depend on the cruise itinerary.

Temple of Kom Ombo - Upon arrival at Kom Ombo city, guests visit the dual temple of Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus, the falcon god. Guests return to the cruise for dinner and continue sailing to Edfu for an overnight stay.

Edfu Temple & Arrival in Luxor (Visit Luxor Temple)

Temple of Horus - After breakfast, guests enjoy a horse carriage ride with the tour guide to visit the Temple of Horus at Edfu, considered the most complete and best preserved of all the Egyptian temples. Guests return to the cruise, relax on deck while admiring the unique landscape and beautiful scenery of the Nile, and sail to Luxor, crossing the Esna Lock. Lunch is served on board, followed by afternoon tea on the sundeck.

Luxor Temple - Late in the afternoon, guests arrive at the cruise dock and are transferred to enjoy Luxor Temple on the East Bank of Luxor, where ancient Egyptian, Christian, and Islamic features are exhibited. Dinner is served on board with a belly dancing show, followed by an overnight stay in Luxor. Note: if arrival at the Luxor dock is by 3:00 or 3:30 pm, there is a chance to visit both Karnak and Luxor Temples.

Balloon Ride, Luxor Tour & Departure Transfer

Hot Air Balloon Luxor Take-Off Site - (Optional Tour) Beginning around 5:00 am, guests are picked up for an incredible 30 to 45 minute hot air balloon flight over the West Bank of Luxor, enjoying an aerial view of the country’s landscape and famous landmarks.
Note: guests have the option to do a sunrise tour starting at roughly 4:30 am.

Valley of the Kings - After breakfast and check-out, guests start an unforgettable day by driving to the West Bank to visit the Valley of the Kings, where the pharaohs of the New Kingdom carved their tombs into the mountains to hide their treasure and protect their mummies.

Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari - Guests then visit the mortuary temple of the famous Queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari, discovering her beautiful temple and her fascinating story with her nephew.

Colossi of Memnon - The West Bank tour ends with a photo stop in front of the gigantic statues of Memnon.

Temple of Karnak - Guests return to the East Bank to see the largest temple ever built: Karnak Temple, constructed over 2,000 years and covering an area of about 63 acres. Guests take wonderful photos among its huge pillars and obelisks. Finally, guests are transferred to their Luxor hotel, the airport, or the railway station (around 3:00 to 4:00 pm).
