The journey includes a tour around Elephantine Island and a visit to the Botanical Gardens, renowned for its diverse plant species sourced globally. In 1899, Lord Kitchener designated this island as a retreat for his campaign, naming it the Lord’s House. Following his passing, the island became the property of the Ministry of Agriculture.
