• Aswan - The guide will collect you from your hotel or Nile Cruise in Aswan at approximately 4:30 am (timing can be adjusted) in an air-conditioned vehicle to begin the journey to Abu Simbel. This tour will take you to the captivating and colorful temples of Abu Simbel. The drive covers about 280 kilometers, taking around 3 to 4 hours through the Egyptian desert, offering a chance to witness the sunrise over the mountains.
• Abu Simbel Temple Complex - Upon arrival, purchase your tickets and take a brief walk to the temple entrance. An Egyptology guide will share the historical significance of the site, including details of the UNESCO-led relocation of the entire cliff face to higher ground, and the accidental discovery of the temples in 1813.

Due to the high volume of visitors, guides are not allowed inside the Great Temple of Ramses II or the smaller Temple of Hathor. However, using photos and illustrations, the guide will explain the structures and their interior artworks before allowing you some free time to explore the temples at your own pace. After visiting the temples, if time permits, enjoy a brief visit to the small visitor’s center to view documents related to the UNESCO relocation project before returning to Aswan.
