Luxor Temple - Cross the lock and sail to Luxor. Take an excursion to the Luxor Temple to admire its courtyard and the granite statues of Ramses the Great.
Karnak Open Air Museum - Continue to Karnak, a series of temples built during different reigns. Begin at the Avenue of Sphinxes, visit the Unfinished Propylon, the Hypostyle Hall with its 134 massive columns, the Obelisks of Queen Hatshepsut and Tutomosis III, the Temple of Amon adorned with lotus and papyrus designs, the Granite Scarab of Amenophis III, and the Sacred Lake. Overnight in Luxor.
Disembarkation
Valley of the Kings - Enjoy breakfast on board before disembarking. (Optional) Hot Air Balloon Ride.
Cross to the West Bank to explore the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon. Take an excursion to the Necropolis of Thebes on the Western bank. Cross the Nile and drive to the Valley of Kings to visit the tombs of various dynasties and the Temple of Deir El Bahari. On the return trip, stop at the Colossi of Memnon, two enormous seated statues representing Amenophis III facing the Nile, then visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut.
