Wonderful family experience - This trip was well organized, the accommodation and food was great, and our guide Amr Elzen was excellent. The ship (Solaris 1) was well maintained, had a comfortable deck and a little pool. The food was great (although sometimes the breakfast time was strange, for ex. No breakfast after 8am on the departure day). Our guide, Amr, had everything well under control, was fun and patient and enthusiastic about the great Egyptian history. He was always helpful and flexible and we felt well looked after. The tipping-situation (not with our guide, but with the crew and especially the luggage carriers) was often strange, but also at sight seeing spots. Sometimes it was strange what Travel to Egypt did not include in an included Tour (like the transportation to the Philea temple by boat, which was a 1000 extra Egyptian Pounds). Besides these money issues our family had a wonderful time on this trip and we can highly recommend it to everyone, especially for families.

Amazing Tour of Aswan to Luxor! - Excellent tour of the most popular sites from Aswan to Luxor! We got a private tour from our amazing guide Alaa, who took us to see museums, temples, markets and more. He is very knowledgeable with a Masters in Egyptology, explaining each site, many artifacts and answering our questions. He is also very organized, arranging pickups, transfers, hotel and even a 1 day tour of Cairo. All in all fantastic service and superb experience!

Excellent services by this company. Skip headaches, hassle free, affordable and private trips! - I had made reservation with Mr Alaa Eldeen 7 months before coming to Egypt. My trip started with a seemless pickup from Aswan Airport by Mr Alaa, Mr Ahmed the driver and Mr Ashraff. We went to the Nubian village and motorboat ride in the nile river. The next day before checking in the Nile Cruise, we went to the High Dam and Phillae temple. The cruises included all the activities - Abu Simbel excursion, Kom Ombu, Edfu temple (all of these are private tours) and when we arrived luxor - hot air balloon (shared) and private tours to the valley of the kings, hatshepsut temple, luxor and karnak temple. We also arranged a very nice private transfer to Hurghada from luxor with Mr Alaa and the activities in Hurghada which were the submarine, desert safari ATV and yatch to orange bay. The activities there in Hurghada were excellent. Our tour ended with another private transfer by car to Cairo frok Hurghada. All are included excluding tipping and price wise, it is as good as much you pay. It is affordable for a private and custom made itinerary. Mr Alaa, our handler is somebody that you can trust. No sudden price increase or hanky panky business. The only thing you have to watch out for is: 1. Our first driver, Mr Ahmed in Aswan pushed for more tips even though i already gave fair amount of tips for such a short day. 2. Another Mr Ahmed, our Luxor to Hurghada driver, pushed for much more tips than I initially gave, which is quite fair for the work already. However, we also met with nice drivers along the way. 1. Mr Ahmad, our Abu Simbel excursion driver. Thanks for such a good service. He arrived early and we managed to beat the crowd at Abu Simbel. 2. Mr. Muhammad, our Hurghada to Cairo driver is a good man. Thumbs up for such an excellent service. Overall, i would recommend the service by this company. You get a custom itinerary, private tours, transportation and guide at the temples.

Wonderful experience, lots of memories, amazing tours, and time well spent - I booked the 4 days cruise from Aswan to Luxor. The trip was well organised and the tours were phenomenal. The cruise ship was clean and the crew were cheerful and helpful. The only issue was the food, not the best food quality and you pay extra for any drink even water. But seems that all cruise ships have the same issue. Aside from the cruise, the tour guide Ahmed Awad was super helpful and knowledgeable. I would have missed at least half of the tours if he was not helping me. He explained to me the history of different sites and the significance of the architecture of temples. Besides guidance, he helped in negotiating fees for transportation and provided tons of tips and tricks. Oh and the best part was his expertise in photography, he took me a lot of wonderful shots! Overall highly recommended trip. If its your first time in Aswan/Luxor its a must.

Uncomfortable Experience - I lowered down my expectations. The room was small, but with a great view of the Nile. The WiFi (they sold SIM cards) on cruise was not working in Aswan. I had to argue with the reception to get a refund. The tours had several stops at souvenir shops which sold products at insanely higher prices. The guide spoke good English and appeared friendly. However, he repeatedly pushed us to tip and increase the tip for drivers, staff and himself, which made me feel uncomfortable. To be frank, we thought we had tipped the guide decently, in addition to two fancy meals we paid, snacks we shared, and money we gave with unspecified and dubious purposes. His manager displayed an awkward “hospitality,” repeatedly asking us to come over and have tea with him, even if we turned it down. I felt very uncomfortable, and wondered his purpose. Towards the end of the tour, the guide asked us to write a good review on trip advisor, which I was pressurized to agree. That unfortunately didn’t reflect my true view, so I rewrote and left this review.

Poor experience. Stay away from this provider - The tour operator Alaa was busy with another group. We were getting different guide in each location. Most of the time there was a miscommunication and people were late. We had to call the tourist police to help us twice. First time when we were given under construction rooms. We couldn’t stay in due to the smell and damage inside and outside. We waited for 5 hours and neither our tour operator nor the cruise did anything to help us. We called the police who came in about 30 minutes and miraculously the cruise manager found other rooms for us. Another time when we were left at night after one of the temples visit waiting for our bus for more than 2 hours. The temple closed and approached us asking why are we still waiting. We said we are waiting for our bus. They contacted our operator who was ignoring us at the beginning and found out that he double booked the bus which was serving other group which caused the delay. So many issues with operations which caused us missing several parts of our trip, including the Luxor temple which I really wanted to visit. Another issue that he couldn’t go with us to Abu Simbel so he told the driver to contact a tour guide when we arrive. That tour guide ignored us for an hour do we decided to find a guide and pay him after consulting with Alaa who said he will pay us back. Took him several days to pay us at the end of the trip. The trip was poorly planned. I would’ve done better job organizing it than what he did. We were clearly neglected despite having older people in our group of 6. I heard that he had several complaints about his lack of professionalism from several people. I suggest to find different operator. I contacted Trip Advisor after my return as I couldn’t communicate with them when I was in Egypt. I requested partial refund but they denied my request saying the tour operator refused to partially refund us. Not surprised that he would do that, but I was surprised that Trip Advisor didn’t do anything to support us especially that we booked the trip through them and we didn’t know anything about that tour operator. It seems they don’t care what we face as long as they receive their money. I won’t use Trip Advisor or their sub company Viator in the future because they don’t support their customers
