Fantastic and romantic Felucca adventure - We had a very special Felucca trip on the Nile. Experiencing the sunset and the sunrise and sleeping on the boat was very romantic. We had a delicious lunch, dinner and breakfast. The staff was very professional, friendly and helpful. Everything was perfect and we really recommend it. It was one of the highlights of our holiday.

Unique experience - This was a fantastic experience that you have to try! Our crew Ahmed and Shaggy were great people who looked after us every step of the way. The food was amazing and we were given more than enough each meal (we came prepared with snacks and hardly touched any of them). There was plenty of bottled water, tea and coffee provided also. The onboard toilet is very clean. The mosquito net does not completely cover every gap on the boat but we were prepared with plenty of insect repellant and happy to sleep in fully covered clothes. We were lucky to have a warm day with a nice breeze and a pleasant night. The mattress and pillows used were comfortable and easy to sleep on. The rooftop view of the stars at night was also a highlight. The experience may vary depending on your preparation (portable phone chargers, insect repellants, snacks, books/ipads) but if you prepare well you will have an unforgettable one.

A phenomenal experience - I went on a group tour with Intrepid, and it was a great experience. I loved watching our chef and cook prepare our meals, which were set out in the center. We slept on the outsides. I don't think I'd do it again, but I'm glad I did it once. Tips: 1. Bring a portable fan. It reached 109 F! 2. Don't forget your hand sanitizer; my boat had a toilet on board, but the water shuts off at night. 3. Bring medicine; one person got a stomach bug, and another one got a cold 4. Pack a smaller bag with everything you need; your larger suitcases will go in the hold. You can reach it, but it's not necessarily comfortable 5. Bring a portable charger for your devices 6. You need bug spray. 7. Bring silicone earplugs. You have to dock at night because larger ships can't see you, and we were stuck with barking dogs, crickets, tree frogs, a party across the water, an overnight train, and a fellow traveler throwing up into the Nile 8. Order/bring enough water 9. Bring binoculars, if you dare. Apparently they're not allowed in Egypt, but I didn't know that, and we were all happy I had them. I spotted incredible birds and fish with them. 10. It can get cold at night, so it's not a bad idea to bring a layer. The lowest it got for us was 75 F, so we didn't need them. Check the weather, which varies greatly in Aswan.

Amazing experience - What a way to spend a day/night. We boarded in Aswan, sailed all day, with a break just for lunch, then slept on the open deck (having had a swim in the Nile first). It got really cold overnight so be prepared to sleep wearing layers with as many blankets as it takes to keep warm. Nevertheless, it was an unforgettable experience. The food for lunch, dinner and breakfast (provided by the staff on the support boat which accompanies you on the journey) was tasty and plentiful.
