Great day ! - Magdy was a great guide ! He explained very well the entire history around the trip and the gods. It was a perfect half day, if you want to see everything listed in the activity. Not much time to shop, but we didn't want to so it was perfect for us !

Abu Simbel - Magdy was our tour guide for the day and made it a perfect one. We loved Abu Simbel, it is a must to see. We have no hesitation in recommending him for anyone wishing a great day out

Great tour - Great day with a knowledgeable guide. Comfy transport and loved the perfume/aromatherapy section. Temple is well worth a visit and dam is fascinating.

Great tour of Aswan highlights - Nice mix of activities and information. Guide Magdi has lots of knowledge to share. Driver Makmut was very careful and attentive. Highly recommend this tour.

Great one-on-one varied tour - Overall a very good trip. We were lucky enough to have our own personal guide with driver (unfortunately can’t remember her name). I guess if others have booked the same tour it may not be a one-on-one trip. We visited the Aswan Dam and Philae Temple (via motor boat) and Unfinshed Obelisk. Great history and our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. Allowed us to ask lots of questions and not just about the trip, but can also ask general questions about Egypt and the local area. Only negative was that the trip included a stop off at a Spice store and a Perfume store where both felt like a hard sell and we felt a little pressured into purchases where the prices weren’t really cheap.

Overall this was a really... - Overall this was a really good tour. The guide was attentive from start to finish and incredibly knowledgeable. He explained everything clearly and shared a wealth of information. The logistics were spot on too: no queuing for tickets, and a private motorboat to Philae. Honestly perfect on that front. Two things let it down, though. First, the stop at a perfume shop, which felt like a classic tourist trap. I was given a "private tour" of the shop and pressured to buy, which I never signed up for. Part of why I booked a private tour was to avoid exactly this kind of situation, not to be taken straight into one. Second, at the end the guide explicitly asked for a tip for himself and the driver. I did tip, but given the price I paid for a private tour, being directly asked felt a bit off. I'd still recommend the guide and the organization, but I'd love to see the shopping stop removed (or made optional) and tipping left to the traveler's discretion. knowledgeable. Great experience - I thank our guide who simply accompanied us to all the sites as per the program, with patience, discretion, competence, clarity, and professionalism.

The pick up was delayed... - The pick up was delayed by 15 mins and where we just waited around. And the guide Hamza was not fluent in English and not very knowledgeable, so it was very difficult to understand the stories and they couldn't answer any questions accurately. They gave a 5 to 10 mins speech about the site and then left us to our own to explore which was not great.
