Wonderful walking tour - Our walking tour was really insightful. Saw a lot of historical buildings in the old city center. Mathias was our guide and he was punctual, patient and very knowledgeable. Learned a great deal of history about Paraguay. We really like the tour and highly recommend this tour.

Do it with Mathias - This tour is a must if you want to get a thorough insight into history, tradition and culture of Paraguay and its capital, Asunción. Highly recommended, especially if it’s your first visit to the country. And don’t miss to ask for Mathias, the most knowledgable and kindest guide you can imagine! He made this tour unforgettable.

Perfect Way to See Asunción - Mathias was wonderful. He texted us the day before the tour exactly when and where we would meet him. He walked us around the old city and taught us about numerous buildings and the rich history of Paraguay. We never would have been able to do this on our own. He even suggested a perfect place for lunch after the tour. I can’t recommend taking this tour with Mathias enough!!!

Excellent walking tour - We absolutely loved our walking tour with Mattias! He’s friendly, energetic, and speaks great English, which we needed for our group. But most importantly, he’s incredibly knowledgeable about the history of Paraguay, his tour is extremely well thought out and professional, and he was able to answer every question we had. He took us to several museums in downtown Asunción that we didn’t even know existed, and we left the tour understanding SO MUCH MORE about the history of Paraguay. His tour covers everything from the indigenous groups and the founding of Asuncion by the Spanish in 1537 to the Paraguayan independence, the War of the Triple Alliance and the Chaco War, and Stroessner’s dictatorship. It is a fair amount of walking and standing. Highly recommend.

Mathias, our tour guide, had all the history of Paraguay and Asunción at his finger tips and guided us with passion through the centuries of Paraguay 's existence until now. Tour with math - We had a really great time with Mathias. He is a great tour guide, has deep knowledge of Paraguayan history and makes the tour fun. He also speaks an excellent portuguese. Highly recommended!

Excellent Tour - Matthias did a great job of taking us around some of the significant sights in Asuncion. The tour was well paced and very informative. We learned a great deal about Paraguayan history. Mathias was also pretty funny. We had a group of four people and the tour lasted about four hours. Highly recommended.

History of Paraguay brought alive! - Mathias was very knowledgeable and passionate about telling us the history of Paraguay. We found that interesting but would have preferred some more current information as we like to embrace the local culture of a country. We'd have also appreciated a coffee stop as 3 hours (mainly) standing is long by UK/ European standards for a guided tour. But maybe we're just old!! Thank you, Mathias, for the tour and bringing the history of your country alive for us.
